Very nice looking coat. I got the black, which was nice. The weight was even lighter than I thought it would be, but that was OK, since I would wear over things anyway. My main problem was the cut. I am pear-shaped, and even though there is some width, the medium wasn't wide enough for me in the hips. The top part was a bit too large in the chest, but the arms were OK in length - I have long arms. Unfortunately, they were somewhat snug for wearing something underneath, though. Sadly, I will have to return it. Shoot.

I bought this jacket in charcoal blue - very nice color. My usual size is medium regular, but after reading other reviews about long sleeve length, I decided to purchase medium petite. Good decision! The jacket, including the sleeves, fit perfectly. For reference, I am 5'4", 135 pounds. After wearing twice during recent hot, humid NYC days, the fabric proved breathable and water resistant. And the jacket did not wrinkle! So far, so good....

This raincoat is beautiful. Wonderful fabric and stylish design features. Would indeed make an excellent travel accessory EXCEPT THAT THE DOUBLE ZIPPER IS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO OPERATE. How did this zipper past muster with the company's testing department?? Please fix this obvious design flaw and I will be the first in line to purchase it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by HatesColdFeet Nice weight, nice length, and comfortable
I'm nearly 5'7", 140 lbs, and ordered my usual size medium. While it's a bit longer than I anticipated, it fits fine and is not boxy. It has some stretch to it making it quite comfortable. It's well-constructed.
If you're looking for a warm winter coat, this is not it. If you're looking for a very waterproof coat, this is not it. This coat is unlined but great for layering. I see it as a 3-season addition to my wardrobe wearing layers as needed. It repels rain when walking from my car into work or the store, but I wouldn't count on it to be waterproof especially for extended time in the rain. Then again, that's not what it's made for.
The 2-way zipper was a hassle at first but has gotten easier to operate with each wearing. The sleeves are long, just as I like and need them to be. The pockets go all the way to the bottom edge and are sewn in a way that gives you two very deep inside pockets. Bonus!
Part of me wishes it had those thumb holes you see on fitness inspired clothing. I would give it the full 5 stars if it were a better price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Linlyn Where has this coat been my whole life?
I have been looking for a coat like this for a long time! I commute, and wanted something with a hood (I live in the Seattle area) that was lightweight, never wrinkled, water resistant, and versatile enough to wear with skirts or jeans or whatever else I'm wearing. It is also long enough to cover my problem areas AND be protective in the rain. It is the coat I wear almost every day now and plan to travel with too. I got caught in a downpour a few days ago and it kept me dry. The stretchy fabric is a bonus. Everyone around here wears black coats, but mine is the one that gets compliments.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Claire22 Love This Jacket
The description states "lightweight" which it is, so don't expect it any more than that.
I'm 5' 4 1/2" typically a regular small. Based on review of sleeves being long, I ordered a petite small. The sleeves are perfect, the material is smooth and stretchy, style is so cute and slimming. A very clean, simple, attractive jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by StillacinNC This is your travel jacket!
I bought this jacket to take to Ireland and it was exactly what I needed. I layered with sweaters on cooler days, wore it with long sleeve T's on warmer days. If I needed to roll it up and stick it in my carry on, it was easy to do. The stretch keeps it comfortable. It really blocked the wind and most of the rain. I did experience one 20 minute downpour during a walk back to the hotel. The jacket did get wet, but I stayed mostly dry and the jacket was dry in no time. This was the best travel piece I have purchased in a long time.

I'm a big fan of softshell jackets. I own 2 other LL Bean softshells and wear them all the time. This one, however, is not a keeper. It is a very thin material that would probably not be suitable for temperatures much below 60 degrees. Despite ordering a petite, the sleeves were too long and the pockets were placed very low - I could not comfortably put my hands in the pocket without leaning forward. Despite having gotten this jacket at a very good price during the 2-a-day daily deal, this will be returned.

Yes - I'll agree - - the zipper is a pain, but all double-zippers are - this one more because the coat is a longer length. Overall, though the coat is wonderful. I like the longer length, sleeves are nice and long which is never the case...I'm very happy with it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by 24609lady HOODED...Longer length
When this came up on the markdown, I wanted it!! With reviews
changed my mind because I really don't like zippers to begin with and others already found problems. Just wish LLB would use snaps or buttons to help. So hard to find this length also.
