I buy this bean's waterproof sneakers once a year,This is my forth pair.
I am using for my work, 5 days week ,work mostly outside in all weather, But I never got wet !!
At this time I got a black pair, I dont like blue lines on the side, because the light blue lines are too bright for my work,so I paint the line with black maker. Now it looks great for me.
I know the visible lines are good for hiking, but I hope it back to simple design again.

Looked good and fit well and good arch support for my feet but I just didn't like them.

Rated 5 out of 5 Great FIt
I bought these in my usual size of 10 1/2... they fit perfectly with medium weight socks. they were a bit stiff to begin, but by the second wearing for a one mile walk, they are soft and comfortable... the traction is also great... Overall, feel very supportive...

These fit great. I wear a 9W and have trouble finding wide width athletic style shoes. The color is very neutral, even the green is a soft color. They go with everything. They are comfortable and have great traction on icy surfaces. I'm a teacher and I need comfy all day shoes. These are perfect. Thanks Bean!

I wanted low, light weight hiking boots and these fill the bill. Comfortable. They seem a little stiff, but probably will not seem that way once I wear them a bit.

I like these. They run true to size. However...I talked to a specialist and was told to order the 9.5 vs the 10. If I was only going to wear them around town, they fit. With hiking socks, I know the 10 would be better, more comfortable and would give me that extra room I usually account for in hiking boots. I got the berry/sage color which is really attractive. They are rather stiff out of the box, so allow time to break them in before hitting the trails.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Wumberlog Disappointing
I exchanged the previous model for this pair, hoping it would be wider across the toes, but it was also too narrow. I loved the old day hikers - splashed through bogs in Scotland and my feet stayed dry. I don't know if these are as good - I'm disappointed I have to return them.
PS: I am amazed that LL Bean took back the pair I bought at least two years ago! Now that's customer service!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by gptraveler Nice but a bit narrow
I buy my shoes size 7 if they are not available in wide. I buy 6 1/2 if they are available in wide. These are a bit narrower than I like in a wide shoe. The right foot is pinching on the outside of the toe on one foot. The comfortable toe box is important to me as a type 2 diabetic but I am keeping these in hopes that they will stretch a bit. A size 7 would be too long and I would trip! Well made though.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Switch NOT a truly wide shoe
Attractive shoe, yes. Wide shoe? Not really. I followed the advice of other reviewers who suggested a half size up. Toes were still squished. Width of toe box felt more like a standard "B" width and toe area was just a bit pointier than I'd like in a hiking boot. Heel fit very well. Not very good arch support, either. On this particular model I found the ankle collar too high, as if the boot cannot decide if it is low or mid-cut. My gut tells me the collar would create blisters on or near my ankle bone.
When I asked if the Cresta full hiking boot was wider I was told they were made on the same last and had the same width as this low hiker - which at least saved me ordering another shoe to reject. Adding a EE width for a couple of the boots models would be a great thing, LL Bean!

I only had one issue with this shoe. It was cut too high on the side, and my ankle bone rubbed on the side of the shoe. I could tell this was going to be a problem as soon as I tried the shoe on, so back it went. Other than that, it appeared to be a well made shoe. True to size, also.
