If you are looking for a boot that will keep your feet warm in the snow, this is not the boot for you. Even being outside in mid-20's shoveling snow for 15-20 minutes leaves my feet really cold. If, however, you are looking for something comfortable to keep your feet dry during rain and such storms, these are really nice and very well-made. I wish they would offer half sizes, though, because I bought the 9 while being a 9 1/2, feeling that the 10 would just be too big. These just fit me, but had I bought the next size up I could probably be wearing thicker socks to keep my feet warmer on snowy days.

First major snow with boots my feet froze, even with thick socks. Too bad I'm sending them back because they were really comfy!

Sadly I will have to return these boots. I normally wear a 6-1/2 or 7 boot, so I ordered a 7 and 7-1/2. Unfortunately, neither size were wide enough for my feet, even with thin socks. My foot is a little on the wide side, and I have a high instep. The boots were well made and would have been comfortable and warm otherwise. Wish they came in wide also. I just ordered the LLBean boot to try in a wide size and will have to wait until the end of Feb to get them...hopefully, will use them next year!

just got 8 inches of snow and they are warm and comfortable - was 8 degrees and could not tell I was outside doing livestock chores. they are the best ever - bought size I usually wear and they are good with either a regular sock or heavy wool sock. my feet have never been so comfortable doing livestock chores in the winter.

My wife loves her new boots. We live in the country and she walks our Lab a couple times a day through the fields and onto roads too.
Grip is great and fit is perfect.
However I was looking for a pair that had velcro closures that I got from you years ago, our dog chewed the straps off, hence the new boots. The side zipper works well though.

Too hard to get foot into easily for quick dog walks--without a struggle with my older feet!! Just not for me but has great possibilities if easier to get on.

I replaced my older traditional Beane boots with the Storm Chaser Pull on boots, It is a more attractive and more comfortable boot. They're insulated and therefore warmer than the other Beane boots I've worn for years. I love that they zip up the side, and have good treds, so I'm less likely to slip.
The only criticism I have is that when wearing socks that were not taller than the boots, the labels on the inside of the boots rubbed against my skin and left it raw.

I bought these last month and finally got to use them in the snow storm today. These are well made. Easy to get on with the zipper on the side. I wear an 8 1/2 shoe but purchased the 9 and the size is good - I even had a medium weight hiking sock on. Not too snug and not too big. I purchased these for an easier on-and-off boot for hiking in the woods and snow removal, instead of my very tall lace up LL Bean boots. They are not as tall. Today's snowfall was about 10 inches and I wouldn't use them for hiking in any deeper snow than that. I will use my taller lace ups for deeper snow. But these fit the bill.
