I've been looking for a linen jacket for some time and this is one of the few I've found that looks good and is reasonably lightweight.
I normally wear a 40 short jacket but the 40 here is dramatically over-sized. I replaced it with the 38 and had to have that shortened. The final fit is good.
I would be even more satisfied if the lining were maybe half length. One wears linen in hot weather and it doesn't need a full lining (or all of the pockets). Nevertheless at the priced charged I'm satisfied.

While I tried the easy care travel blazer first, because it's style and description appealed to me....with no satin lining, that jacket was not comfortable to wear, especially in the heat, allowing no shifting.
However, exchanging it for T & F blazer, I could not be happier. Being 6 ft 3 in tall, the regular fit had sufficient sleeve length. as I like to follow the practice of allowing a quarter inch shirt sleeve to peak out.
This jacket is just right, and has just the right amount updated styling to carry you through current times.....while still very classic and timeless looking.
I love it, and thank you LLBEAN for allowing me to exchange it.

Runs big. Has a tent feel. Probably go with the travel blazer, you will be happier. I now have both.

Rated 1 out of 5 by CoastIsClear Linen, but polyester lining
The entire inside of the blazer, front, back, and sleeves, has a sewn in polyester lining. The website description unfortunately failed to mention this at the time of my purchase, March 2015.
It would be a nice jacket at 72 degrees, but the complete polyester lining would make it uncomfortably hot to wear here in Hawaii when the temperature is generally 80 or 85 degrees.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jollygreen17 The jacket I've been looking for!
I had been looking for a rugged, smart looking sport jacket that I could wear with jeans and other casual clothing and this is it!! I am 6'9" tall and the 52 Tall fits great, even the sleeves are long enough. The fabric is a rugged twill and the fit is like a sportcoat. The jacket has lots of pockets, some zippered and slots for pens. All in all, a great garment!

I purchased this Blazer in September. Tall - Sandstone. Size is true. It is very comfortable. I wear it with Jeans or Pants to look a bit more dressed that just pure "casual". Very comfortable. The really big problem is the LLBean refuses to offer it in a selection of colors. All they have is Sandstone and Olive. Would be really nice to have some other color choices.

Well made and fit was perfect - 48" Tall. A bit heavier material than I expected and a little stiff, but with wear it is getting softer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Moverlake Good but casual jacket
The Houndstooth woolen Town & Country blazer is quite good looking, sturdy, hangs well, and is a great fall and winter color scheme. I like it very much. My regular size 48 fit surprisingly well in the body, only needing, as usual, a bit of shortening of the sleeves. (I like my shirt cuff to show 1/2 inch.)
But, as for me, I do not think it dresses up for a better dinner out or any other semi-dressy event even in casual Seattle. It's fine with cotton chinos. It's grand with dark blue jeans. I'll wear it to casual ethnic or other restaurants, shopping, or a walk in the park on a cool autumn day, but that's it.
Not dressy, that's it. I like and wear the jacket, but not dressy.

This has become a staple with jeans or khakis and a nice shirt. Lots of great pockets, looks really sharp for many occasions!
