Rated 2 out of 5 by Keeghan Easy-Care Travel Blazer and corduroy blazer
Both coats are made well and of good quality, but neither of them fit well. They are size 42 SHORT but the bodies were 11/2 " too long and the arm lengths were 2" too long. (I am 5'6".) I have a 3-year-old Bean sport jacket in this size and it needed no alterations.
Alterations for these two cost me $104. That means I spent a total of over $375.

If you're in need of an 'all purpose' blazer this fills the bill. Well made, true to size (at least for me - 44L) and goes with just about everything. Works for business or casual or just because. I live in the mountains of northern New Mexico and can comfortably wear April thru October. More pockets than I know what to do with. When wrinkled, 5 minutes in a dryer with a wet towel and problem resolved. My girlfriend likes the look too. This blazer is traditional and serves as an anchor component of my wardrobe. Wait for an LLBean $10 coupon and get it for just about the right price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MotownReviewer Lots of good features
Generally, I'm pretty happy with this jacket and have gotten a number of compliments on it. The weight is a little heavy for the warmest days but it is very comfortable. I especially like the sleeve lining as all cotton tends to grab with long-sleeve shirts. I like all of the pockets, although the outside zipped one is a bit of an affectation. (That said, it is handy for a cell phone.) I'm happy to have this jacket option as the previous version with "safari style" really raised my eyebrows. (Perhaps I'm being too politically correct, but I really thought the whole "Bwana" thing went out years ago.) My biggest complaint is that the sleeves are way long and the way the stitching has been handled around the cuffs and buttons makes it virtually impossible to alter. But all in all, I'm good with it. I have the khaki version and will likely get the olive gray. Looks equally good with tropic weight trousers, chinos, and jeans.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LuckyGSP Arrived as Advertized
I have only recently received this travel jacket however it is just what was expected, lightweight for Mid-Texas winters and will go very nicely with jeans and boots. Seems to not wrinkle if kept on hanger.
Overall, very pleased and would recommend to a friend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by notllbeantype Surprisingly really great!
I didn't see picture clearly & thus didn't notice details like the Zipper on outside pocket. When I took it out of packaging I thought it was extremely nerdy & pretentious. However, when He tried it on, it looked great and just enough "unusual". Material, entire Jacket very well made-- as expected from LL Bean. I thought the color was as pictured and this Jacket could go with everything.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ipswichtraveler Perfect jacket for travel
The Easy Care Travel Blazer is the perfect jacket for travel--especially for international travel and other extended trips. It has three pockets on the outside of the blazer and two pockets on the inside. The two inside pockets can be secured for especially important items--such as passport, flight itinerary, boarding passes, foreign currency, and U.S. currency. It can help you stay organized. The blazer is well designed and comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. It's the right weight for a range of climates and temperatures.

The blazer came quite wrinkled. A quick trip to the cleaners for a pressing job and it came out in excellent condition. Fits like a glove. Looks great.

Blazer fit perfectly for a 42 reg. Well made and designed for travelers. The blazer is medium weight and usable in all but the hottest and coldest weather. I looked at other unstructured travel blazers and this was by far the best for quality and price. Would like to see it in navy. Very satisfied.
