Rated 5 out of 5 by Leash Another pair of great pants
I probably have 12 pairs of these pants. This most recent pair I chose the Standard fit and really like them. These are great for resisting stains and are perfect for travel, because they do not wrinkle. I highly recommend them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by flatironClimber Great pants with incorrect sizing.
Ordered 2 pair of these pants in 36" waist and after receiving them found out they were way too big. I measured my waist at 37" and they were at least an inch too big.
I called customer service and was read the actual garment dimensions (which the customer does not get to see on the web page). A 36" size is actually 38" in the waist. Well no wonder they didn't fit!
My suggestion for folks is to call LLBean when you buy any clothes from them and ask what the dimensions really are. If there is a difference in the listed size and the actual dimensions please demand that they fix the misinformation. It makes no sense to list a 38 as a 36.
Kudos to LLBean for replacing these mislabeled pants promptly but how about saving us some time and LL Bean some money by getting the sizes correct on the web page.

by MontrealJohn I love these, but a fatal flaw in quality
I bought 2 pairs in January for use in my new office job. No hard physical wear and tear, just walking around the office and sitting with them over the course of the past 4 months, and I washed them no more than once a week using a delicate detergent and wash cycle.
Great fit and I love the fabric. But now the cuffs on BOTH pants are totally worn out and frayed.
Next time I'm in the US and at the LLBean store in Freeport (where I bought them) I will try to return both these pants for a refund or something. For now, I've actually ordered ANOTHER pair of them online simply because, yes, I totally love the fit and feel of these pants. If the cuffs wear out on these new ones 4 months from now, I guess I'll try to return those too.
But if the cuffs keep wearing out every 4 months, I'm going to have to eventually find another brand.
Color me very disappointed.

The pants fit more snugly in the seat and pants than the Classic fit - just what I needed. They're tighter through the thighs than most of my other pants, and I'm still getting used to this. They are truly wrinkle-free, meaning no care required.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MyselfCCH Very Nice Pants, but...
So far, I can't complain about these pants, or any other pants from LL Bean. One thing with LL Bean is that the size you order is the size you get. No need to order larger in length or waist like I have typically had to with other brands. Ideally, black would also be available in these pants. Hopefully the pants last longer than other brands I have previously purchased. If the pants came in black and they last a decent time, I would up the rating to 5 stars. However, no black and not knowing how long the pants will last required leaving one star for improvement. If the pants do not last, then they are like previous brands I have had, except for the perfect sizing.

My husband picked these out as I brought pictures up online for him. He selected the color, the back pockets, the front design (no pleats). He loves them and he looks great in them also. So easy, on our doorstep in a few days, great price. It's the way to shop for his slacks!

I am very pleased with the LL Bean chinos; I especially like the "standard fit". LL Bean is the gold standard for shopping on line.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MAJackson Chino quibble
The color, fit, size are all good. The only quibble is that the button over the waist is either too big for the hole, or the hole is too small for the button....after a couple of weeks I'm still struggling to button/unbutton the waist button. It IS getting a trifle easier the more I play with it, and it's not a deal-breaker, but, until the fabric around the button stretches out, it takes me more time (and is more an effort) than I like to get dressed/undressed.
