Rated 5 out of 5 by Goodyskis Upland Pack
I have purchased 2 of these as well as one of the Technical Upland Vest Packs for my sons and myself. While these are most certainly smaller they are really great vests if you want to keep your load light. We fit 3 SD roosters in our Ultra Tech pouches without any issues. It is not burdensome to carry. If you want places for water bottles and more gear go with the Technical Vest and you will have all the room you will want. Both packs are great quality and I believe they will see years of service for us. We did add a clip for the collar transmitters to the pouch to make sure they were secured. Would be nice if LL Bean could have one already installed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Kupland Not enough room
This is supposed to be an upland vest, but there are no water holders or straps on this thing, and certainly no room inside the pouch to carry enough water for myself and the dogs. If I put enough water inside the pack, I might have enough room for 1 grouse or pheasant.
Also, the strapping on this vest is a bit on the cheap side, and the transmitter/gps holder on the strap is not large enough to be useful.

Rated 3 out of 5 by WhitefootLabd Not for me
Tried it on ~ 2mi. outing w/ my Lab. Carried my bird guide, 28oz. water bottle, training bumper, training collar transmitter. Did not serve as well as my strap vest which is more convenient. Adjusts to fit me (6'4") high quality; well made as usual from LLB; may suit others better. I'm returning it.

This sling bag is very high quality fabric, sturdy zippers and clasps. Purchased for hands free Geocaching/hiking. It is good sized too. It was too big for me with the wide waistband and sling strap. I'm 5'6" and it swallowed me up. I will have to continue my quest for a similar item.
I do recommend this bag to others who are in the 5'10" and taller range.
