LOVE this shirt - I have two - cream and steel blue and wear them frequently - I'm 5'3" - 125 pounds and got a Med. (36 C) - I don't iron but have touched it up with a steamer - I hope this tunic comes back in more colors!

I love this shirt so much, I bought 2 of each color. It feels like wearing the softest t-shirt you own, but it looks really classy and flattering, and the material is really cool. I'm allergic to ironing, but as long as I pull it out of the dryer as soon as it's done and hang it up that's no problem.

I wanted a tunic length top to cover my pear shape lower half--so I ordered a M and also a S. Well, the Med was far too long (I'm a Pet S) and frumpy. And the Sm was too snug in the hips. The colors (mauve berry and blue steel) were too muted for me....but would be fine on others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Londonfan Great look, quality and comfort
I ordered this shirt in blue steel, thinking to save it for fall, as I live in a hot climate, however it was so pretty I couldn't wait! I was surprised by how comfortable it was on a warm day--I put it on and forgot I was wearing it--to me, that means comfort. The fabric is a nice weight, neither flimsy nor too heavy, and the workmanship is top-notch. I washed it by hand in cold water and hung to dry--I measured it before and after and it shrank about a quarter of an inch in width and three-quarters of an inch in length--it still fits fine and looks great. Ironing it was a breeze. This afternoon, I ordered 2 more in different colors, so I think it's safe to say I love this shirt!

I never would have picked this unassuming shirt, so I have my Mom to thank for that. She bought one for herself and told me to try it on -- wow! Extremely flattering. Fabric is a medium, sturdy weight but still breezy enough for summer. Shirt drapes beautifully, and the slight ruching in the back adds interest and creates a better fit. It is casual but not sloppy -- the overall look is classy, neat, and polished.
I ordered the blue steel and the ledge -- both pleasing colors and easy to coordinate with jeans or khakis.

I ordered the Cream and the Ledge (tan) color a few weeks ago. I have worn them on 2 road trips and in the heat. These shirts were so comfortable! I ordered up a size and I am glad I did. I washed them on cold gentle and hung to dry. They did shrink a little bit. Minimal ironing for the hem and pockets. Hardly wrinkled in the car which is amazing. Great for when it is hot. Thick enough, and a great weight,so that I don't really need a cami underneath. I do wear one anyway for the cream color. I just ordered the blue color because it has been such a good shirt that I wanted to get it before they are gone. Dress up with white pants or dress down with jeans. Good job LLBean!

My friend and I each bought got one of these shirts and considered sending them back because they do stick out a bit at the bottom of the side seams. They are constructed so that the seams cannot be taken in to eliminate this problem. Incidentally you can see that in the photo. It isn't, a big deal however if you are not terribly fussy. We did decide to keep them as they are versatile and cover our fAt derrières! The colors are lovely. I have the blue, she the tan. I hope they don't shrink too much because then they might not cover said derrières as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by diinin My first linen shirt
Got this in mauve berry, and it's a beautiful color. This is the first linen shirt I've ever bought, because I just plain don't iron. My dryer is my iron. So this was an experiment, and it paid off. Other than a little curling at the hem after washing and drying (nothing the flat iron for my hair won't fix), it's fine. I like the texture that washing gives it.
I'm 5'4" and 108#, and tried both the small and medium. Decided on the small. It did shrink some. I wouldn't want it to be any smaller, only because you have to put it over your head. I like my shirts in the middle zone--neither snug nor baggy--and this one lands right there.
I'm ordering the other two linen shirts from Bean, too (seacoast and pintuck), and might go for a second one of these in the ledge color.

I bought this in the blue and loved it so much I just ordered the cream. I think it runs a bit small. I usually take a medium in Bean clothes, but I ordered a large, as reviews suggested, and I'm glad I did. I'm 5'7", 145#. The shirt is so soft and roomy. It washes well, and I did have to iron the hem as it curled some. The blue has a grayish tone to it so that it's different from the usual chambray or turquoise blue color. The cream is just a bit off-white. Love them both.
