This messenger bag is beautifully designed and crafted - easy to adjust the strap length... Lots of pluses!
The one thing that DOESN'T work is the water bottle holder inside the bag.... It's made to hold one of the smaller plastic water bottles that people would buy at a store before most people started buying and carrying their own. My re-use water bottles won't fit in the elastic holder!!
Luckily - the back pack that I use with the bag has a water bottle carry spot so I use that one.

I am soooo compulsive and meticulous with ALL my purchases that I annoy myself most of the times! I purchase a Traverse bag for my camera, which the Traverse was GREAT but, it was not waterproof, I was caught in a very bad rain storm and was so upset that my camera was going to get ruined, which it did get wet, but not destroyed. This is when I went on line to look for a waterproof messenger bag, I found the Timbuk 2, I purchased the small one but it was to small for the camera and all its accessories, I returned, purchased the large one. The red messenger bag is BEAUTIFUL. I was praying for rain! Great size for the camera, accessories and all the other items I placed in the bag. Great feel, not to heavy, material is great. The down fall, no pockets out side! That's why it waterproof! To get in and out of the bag is very convenient, it has to 2 Velcro that are great if you do not want to snap.

I've used the small "Confetti" bag for about 6-7 months now and I love it! I needed a messenger bag that could hold a tablet and whatever else I need for the day, and keep them safely dry. This bag is lined on the back and bottom too, not just on the flap. I also like the way the strap adjusts so easily, the water bottle organizers inside the bag, the sideways pocket you can quickly access without opening the flap (great for phones), the cinch straps that I sometimes use to stash a jacket (they could hold a yoga mat too, if you're into that). It has a simple, streamline look but has a lot of useful features. Timbuk2 makes solid bags. They've been at it for years and it shows. This bag is the result of a lot of customer feedback. Plus, they have bag-mending and bag-recycling programs.
I was considering this purchase for a while, until I saw that LLBean carried it. Jumped at the chance! Great bag + I get to shop at a company with amazing customer service!
