Rated 4 out of 5 by Backwoodsman Does the job
Does he job with a couple of caveats. In order to prevent the joints loosening up it is somewhat difficult to assemble. A longer supplied Allen wrench would provide more leverage and make assembly easier. In order to provide a wide field of view with a small mirror it is quite convex. As a result objects are very small and appear much farther away than they are. Dark vehicles without daytime running lights can be hard to see against a dark background. On balance it is helpful for seeing what is either overtaking you or waiting to overtake you. It is especially helpful when you want to make a left turn and check what is behind you.

Easy installation, easy to adjust, yet stays where desired. Very helpful for commuting by bike and having a better handle on car traffic.

I've had one of these for years and recently bought a second one for my 'everyday' bike. I've taken it many miles with no complaints! I've even dropped the bike against it and it didn't break.
It has three angles of adjustment and even comes with a hex wrench to do just that. The mirror is solid even over bumpy roads and curbs. Mirror has slight curve to show a wider angle. It's pretty easy to install and comes with two different wedges to fit inside a variety of handlebars. $18 is a small price for safety.

This mirror is steady, has good view field. Less apt to move over bumps compared to others I've had. My husband had one and liked it so we replaced one I broke with this model. Used on a Terratrike.
