Rated 3 out of 5 by iluvstyle what to say?
The fit is OK for me, however the sleeves are not finished off very nicely. the button holes are small and so the shirt is difficult to button up. The placket is also very narrow which make the front closing chintzy. I bought the white and the red stripe. An ongoing issue I have with LLB and products that have patterns, stripes or prints is the failure to match up the patterns or stripes where pieces come together. So, it looks like I'll give the white a try and have to return the red stripped one - the mismatched stripes are way to obvious and make the shirt look as if it had been purchased at a big box discount store.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SandyGal Sleeves a bit snug when rolled
I am 5'9" and weigh 140 pounds. The small fits well, even the darts hit in the right place (they are often too high). The white is not too see-through. The sleeves are snugger on my arms around the "cuffs" when rolled up than the photo indicates; snug enough that you have to pull them off when you are taking off the shirt, it doesn't just "come off." I bet the cuffs (rolled up) will get grimy on a hot day. I like the shirt and will keep it, but given that I'm pretty thin, I bet others might find it too tight on the arms. If you won't roll them up, it fits fine, but the main reason I bought it is to have the option of ¾ or short.

This is a nicely made shirt, fabric with stretch and cute style except for pockets being small. I thought the pockets didn't look right on my XL/1X size. I would probably recommend for a slender frame friend.

I bought this shirt to go with faded jeans. It looks great & the facings in chambray blue add a bit of style to the shirt. It is lovely & cool, hangs well & really sets of denim. I like the pockets & the roll up sleeves.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SixtyOneShopper Love This Seersucker Shirt
Got these on a "Two a Day" discount, and I now have all the colors. The fabric is great, the fit is as described. Glad they are bringing more colors back for the Spring of 2014 (can it come soon enough?)
Try one of these. you will wear it often for three seasons.

This seersucker shirt is styled differently then the seersucker shirts I purchased from L.L. Bean last summer. The fabric is thinner. The stripe is narrower. The overall length is longer. The cuffs are more casual. I like the sleeves rolled, so the cuffs don't show. I like the diagonaI stripes on the top of the pocket. My usual medium is a good fit. I am looking forward to wearing it this summer with either white or denim pants. I think this shirt will be cool and comfortable on hot days. Today I washed it, damp dried it on low in the dryer, and hung it on a hanger to finish drying because I don't like to iron seersucker. I like the texture of seersucker as it is. There are multiple layers of fabric on the front placket and I agree it is difficult to unbutton, but over the head as previously suggested worked just fine.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Bettina OK, but some odd features
I ordered a (white) XS shirt since that is the size of my other Bean shirts and most of the comments said it runs large. I found it a little snug and oddly enough the only other comment about it being small was also for a (white) shirt. I like the collar but the sleeves are strange with the button cuff on 3/4 length sleeves. I will probably cut off the tabs and button and roll up myself. Also, the pockets look more like a child's size. I purchased it on sale and I like seersucker and don't mind ironing so I'll keep it, but would not buy another this style.

Rated 5 out of 5 by thequiltygardener Keeps you nice and cool even on a hot day
Bought one of these shirts and liked it so much I went back for two more. They are made very nice and wash up well , although you must iron them. They keep you feeling nice and cool even on some of the warmest days of summer. I never though I would like seersucker so much. Thanks LLBean

This seersucker does not wash well. It requires ironing. It is not comfortable-feels rough.

I love these shirts! I got 3 of them & so that I can get even
more wear from them, I purchased matching pima crew neck
tees, which are very comfortable & make it possible to wear the
shirts into colder weather. They are very comfortable, a little long, but I'm only 4'11". Highly recommend them.
