I think i have almost every color. I'm a standard medium and i find they fit fine. I wear them all the time spring through fall. I feel they've handled the numerous washing very well

This is my 4th Waffle Knit tee I ordered. The others I ordered last year and I just loved them. In the fall I wore them as they were. In the winter I wore them as an extra layer underneath my sweaters and also occasionally used them as sleepwear. I am glad I have now 4 different colors. They fit great and wash well time after time. I just love them. :-)

Rated 3 out of 5 by LuvToWander Wish it had shrunk
I like the soft fabric, however, I went ahead and ordered a size up based on some of the earlier reviews noting some shrinkage. Mine did not shrink, so it does fit looser than I would like. If I buy one next year, I will go with my normal size.

Rated 3 out of 5 by janicep Great but shrinks
I wish LL Bean would get a grip on shrinking shirts! I had 3 of these last year, loved them, but they shrunk significantly in length. So I bought another one this year and swore I wouldn't let it shrink in the dryer. I was SO careful to hang it to dry after the wrinkles came out in the dryer. It still shrunk. I'm so disappointed. It seems that this problem of shrinking happens with so many of Bean's T's as well. I don't understand it.

I ordered this in lilac. The big plus is that it remained true to size after I washed it. It it's soft and not itchy. So I ordered one more.

The most comfortable shirt I have ever worn! Purchased a wisteria blue one in XS @ the outlet shop and wear it all the time. Comfortable, warm, and stylish. No problem with shrinkage as others have noted. Just bought another one!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Sequim Great colors but too light weight for my needs
Although this is basically a cotton shirt, it has the feel and lightness of being all synthetic. It's not the Henley you may be used to wearing for warmth, at least not in the Pacific Northwest.

Rated 3 out of 5 by NeverDoReviews Caution w/Dryer
I wore my Waffle Knit tee for the first time a few weeks ago and thought it was a good buy, but I just made a terrible mistake by drying it in the dryer on the delicate cycle. Not good. I should have known...even if the tag states you can dry it on low, if it's a 100% cotton, don't do it. It was only in for 30 minutes on the lowest dry level and now it's too short and probably too tight. My bad!

I got one of these in the size XL petite in the color Wisteria Blue. It has a bit of stretch to it and hangs nicely and looks good. I'm not sure what the difference is between the regular size and the petite size (sleeve length tends to be the main difference) but it fits just fine and the sleeves are not too long for me for a change!
Thanks again for a good price on a great item L.L. Bean!

Rated 1 out of 5 by dobs Too bad they skimped!
I really liked the look and feel of this shirt, but they paired 100% cotton with a synthetic velveteen binding at the neck, so when you use a cotton setting to iron the shirt (because it shrinks so much you have to iron it back to size) it melts the binding and makes it scratchy on your neck! I picked a Large instead of Medium, because it's not the first LL Bean shirt that shrank, but it mainly shrinks vertically so the underarms are baggy.
My suggestion would be to use a cotton binding at the neck and pre-shrink the cotton.
