Rated 5 out of 5 by TheWens Great jacket
Versatile and lightweight, this jacket does everything it claims to. Especially nice for the cool Midwest fall temps, and I look forward to wearing it into wintertime. Blue pine color looks great, a shade lighter in person than online but still very vibrant. I'm 5'5, 128lbs and typically wear a size S. The S was a bit snug at the hip, so I went with the M. Perfect fit, especially for layering a long sleeve tee or sweater underneath. This will be a staple in my coat closet, a keeper!

Rated 5 out of 5 by ActiveMomCanada Lightweight and warm!
This jacket is wonderful. It is thin and lightweight, but it also keeps you surprisingly warm. I have worn it on cool and damp (10C/50F) Fall mornings to walk my son to school, and I have not felt even a tiny bit cold or chilled. This is a big difference from my brand name fleece jacket (with supposed wind-stopping features), where damp air just seeps right through to my core.
I am 5'5", 116lbs, and a size Small fits me perfectly, with room to layer a fleece or sweatshirt underneath. The sleeves are a good length. I also own the H2OFF Primaloft lined rain jacket from LL Bean, and I wear a size XSmall in that, so I suppose this packaway jacket seems to fit smaller than usual.
Looking forward to getting lots of use out of this jacket in the upcoming seasons, as well as for a trip to Chicago in November!

Rated 1 out of 5 Cheap-looking!
I was not at all impressed with this coat! I purchased the Island Green color and it looks like a nice, light green but in reality it's more like a fluorescent, lime green. Hideous. I understand it's supposed to be pack-able, but this coat was paper-thin. Also, I'm only 5'2" and I found the coat to be too short; so short that I wouldn't be able to lift my arms. Very generally unhappy with this purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by HuskyWalker Warm, but lightweight
Could not be happier with this jacket, as it fits great, (it is fitted a bit trim, especially in the back). It is really warm for having weight of a light raincoat. I've been fine when temperatures are in the 20s/30s with it now. Hood is big enough to go over my hat and cozy. I really appreciate the cover over the zipper when you have the hood up, so it doesn't scratch. Ordered island green and it is bright and upbeat!

Rated 5 out of 5 by radj1956 great jacket
I followed the reviews and ordered a size up,petite large instead of the medium.
Fits great. Can wear a medium weight sweater underneath with room to spare but doesn't look big on me. Wore it on a cool windy day and was surprised with the warmth though it is as light as a feather. Blue pine color is lighter than pictured but I prefer it less vibrant. Great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by DGWD Terrific jacket for Peru
Just got back from Peru where the temperature varies from region to region and hour by hour. This jacket could be stowed away easily and retrieved for active duty in cooling temperatures and the cold with an extra layer underneath. It's windbreaking capabilities were great on cool river cruises and water repellency also appreciated. It looked terrific besides in the turquoise for me and orange for my husband. Definitely recommended!

I wanted to write a review because I spent at least an hour struggling with which size to get, and I ended up choosing right! I am a female, 5'4", and about 140 lbs with a large chest. I'm not noticeably overweight, but I also am not slim. I was worried about the women's fit, so I went for a size Large, and it is perfect! It fits comfortably with just a t-shirt under, but also leaves the perfect amount of room for a sweatshirt or sweater. Also, it collapses to a very small size which is extremely convenient for camping!

Rated 5 out of 5 by AppalachianTraveler Perfect for Alaska in mid-June!
Although this jacket was an expensive purchase for my family budget, the fit, color, and ability to keep day-long drizzle at bay made it a very worthwhile investment for our recent family trip. I was especially glad that I chose the hooded version, after considering both versions -- I used the hood repeatedly, almost daily during our travel, and I know that I wouldn't have kept a hat so handy each day. It also served as a nice lap blanket on the plane -- a real comfort that I wouldn't have considered ahead of time, since I hadn't flown since such comforts were no longer routinely provided! Lightweight and very easy to "pack down"! One thing: I tried squeezing the air out of the jacket to see if I really could get the whole thing into its self-pocket. I could, but the resulting wrinkles did not fall out quickly, so I wouldn't recommending crushing it so tightly unless you really, truly must make it fit a tiny space. Overall, a wonderful piece that fits well, yet comfortably. I was glad that I ordered the XL in petite -- the arms were a little long, but when I added a layer, I was always glad that my wrists were fully covered. Excellent jacket!

Rated 5 out of 5 by 2CorgiMama Great Jacket!
Ordered this jacket and the corresponding men's model at the last minute for our small ship cruise of Alaska's Inside Passage. It was easy and lightweight for packing. I bought a size larger than my normal size (this purchase was literally last minute, so I wouldn't have had time to exchange before we left) to make sure I could layer it with fleece, and it was plenty warm and waterproof enough to keep off spray when we were exploring on the inflatable boats. I can foresee using this jacket a lot now that we're home.
