Rated 5 out of 5 by AmyinCincy Love this jacket!
I was looking for a lightweight yet warm jacket that would be perfect for travel, and protection in rainy weather. I've checked lots of stores and sites and this one seemed just right. I received if Friday and I'm thrilled with it. The fit is lovely and the snug abdomen that others complained about is why I live it. This jacket has a shape to it so you look a bit tailored versus shapeless and frumpy. That being said, I bought a medium and wear a size 10, it fits well, but if you were any bigger it might be tough to fit a sweater/sweatshirt underneath. I wanted a fitted look though so it's perfect. I've purchased for a September trip it the British Isles, so I'll soon find out if it's really waterproof!

Rated 4 out of 5 by judgewoman Cute jacket but runs REALLY BIG
I ordered this in the Coral color, which I loved. It is more pink than orange; I would call it a peony color. The jacket itself is lovely but it runs really big. I am about 110 lbs, 5'1". I normally wear a size 2 petite in just about everything. I ordered the XS but it is huge. It's really not fitted at all. So you should definitely order a size down, and if you're my size or smaller, this jacket is not for you.

I ordered this Jacket in a Medium Petite, because the Large Petite in the old style was way too big for me. I was surprised when I received the medium to find it to be way too small, so I returned it ( which cost me a lot of money ) for a large. The large fits well, but I miss the old style. The Jacket, which is 159.00 USA ended up costing me about 240Cdn. what with Customs , Taxes and Return Post. I have always known my size at LLbean, but now I am no longer sure. I can no longer aftord the return costs. I do however still like the LLbean quality.

I have been looking for the past few years for this kind of jacket! I wanted one that I could wear with a fleece vest in the not-so-cold winters of Seattle and yet stay dry in the rain. In the past the jackets have either had too much going on at the neckline, the hoods were enormous, or the linings were odd colors/plaids.
This jacket was a bit more then I wanted to spend, but I am so glad I did because it completely fits my requirements. I hadn't realized there was a zip out lining when I ordered it which now gives me even more options. I love that the hood can be shortened a little bit in the back or it can be fully extended to cover the face more if it is really raining hard. I also like the little kick pleat--it looks cool and is functional. I ordered the violet color and it is BEAUTIFUL. I'm just curious why you didn't offer that color in the coat because I was also considering that but went with the jacket because the color is awesome. Sleeves are a teeny bit long but they will work. I find that younger petites must have longer arms because it seems that all the petite manufacturers are going with longer sleeves!
This jacket was well worth the money and I can't wait for the cooler weather to get here!!

I purchased this coat just a couple weeks ago and I absolutely love it! Chic, yet completely functional as a working rain coat, a combination that is very hard to come by!

Rated 5 out of 5 by opal1 Just what I was looking for!
This jacket satisfies all of my idiosyncratic needs! Finally, a water-proof, yet breathable, rain jacket in a Petite size with the all-important two-way zipper. I'm short and need to be able to unzip the lower jacket when I sit down, or occasionally when I have extra layers over my full hips. Your inclusion of several snaps under the front storm flap also lends versatility to how and where I fasten the jacket. Proportions of the PL size I ordered are good for my 5'2" chunky frame, run true-to-size, and still allow for extra layers.
I like the cinch cord at inner waist to add a little shape when using as a light jacket, and the silky fabric has a nice feel and classy appearance.
I have decided that this is my new all-purpose travel jacket. And the bonus is the beautiful violet blue color!

I just received my H2OFF jacket and am very pleased. The vibrant blue is a cheerful color but is not an eye-popping neon. I am 5' tall and 105 lbs. and wear a size 4 petite. I ordered an x-small petite. It fits nicely, is not bulky and there is enough room for a sweatshirt or sweater underneath in cooler weather. The sleeves are a bit long but tuck under neatly. This jacket cost a little more than I would usually spend but I think I will be reaching for it again and again.

I ordered the Petite size and it fit perfectly. Very comfortable. Have not worn it in the rain yet but it worked well on a windy day in Alaska.

I was originally a bit skeptical about ordering this item, as I wasn't sure I wanted to spend that amount of money on a "raincoat." I looked at several other coats online and in many stores, and I could not find a single one that seemed as well constructed. I decided to purchase the coat from LLBean, and I am so happy I did. It has every characteristic I was looking for, and I know it will last me for many, many years.

this is my second h20ff rain jacket - my old one lasted over ten years. this one is really nice. the styling has been updated and it is now more flattering (slightly fitted) - the back of the jacket has a pleat in it which gives it a nice look. the hood is attached and no longer can be tucked into the collar and be hidden if you didn't want it to show, however, the hood also now has an adjustable Velcro tab on it so you can make the hood fit your head better. I am happy with the updates and hope this one will last a long time too.
