Rated 2 out of 5áby MarinLady I don't like the new too-tight cut!
I purchased two pairs of the older, truly straight-leg cut of these pants two years ago, and have carefully saved this "rinsed" color for professional meetings, etc., because they made me look so trim and fit. I'm 5'4" and about 120 lbs, but now at 65 years have a slight pot-belly which the old cut completely disguised--it hung straight from the widest part of my abdomen.
The new cut does the opposite--it emphasizes my pot-belly by drawing in tighter at the hip joint (basically, the new cut uses less material in the abdomen-and-hip, so it fits tight against the body). Also, the thighs (now "slightly fitted") are no longer loose enough to be comfortable in the summer. <SIGH>
I'm hoping that the fabric will stretch out on the new pair as I wear them, but I'm not happy. The only problem I had with the old cut was the waist, which was about 1/2-inch too big for me, but cinchable with a belt. Unfortunately the new cut kept the waist size the same (still just a bit to big, so the next larger size wouldn't work), and squeezed everything else.
I'll keep the new pair, because they're not totally unwearable--they just don't look nice. But I'll keep using the old pair as my "good jeans", treating them gently for as many years as I can. LL Bean, not all your customers are 30 years old, and some of us can't keep flat bellies no matter how good a shape we're in otherwise! <sigh again>

Rated 3 out of 5áby PocketsFan comfortable but pockets too small
The fabric and the waistband are comfortable, but the pockets have grown smaller than earlier LL Bean pants. And these are the largest pockets LL Bean sells! More people carry cell phones these days, but LL Bean is providing less room for them.
OK, the rest of the pant is fine.

Rated 5 out of 5áby exerciserat Good quality and good fit
I love these lightweight jeans. This is my second pair. They fit perfect but I did order a size up from my usual size. I also ordered them in a long because I wanted the 32" length. They are soft and comfortable. The quality is good.

Usually I have a problem with the waist being too loose. This is snug. Fits perfectly everywhere else. Will have to return.

Finally the legs are a bit longer but still not quite long enough.
All cotton is very important in my summer climate. LL Bean keeps running out of rinsed and stonewashed with faded more available and now all three aren't available until Jan 4. Disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5áby GardenRose Great pants for summer
Wonderful soft lightweight material, so comfortable in warm weather. My usual size, 8 Reg, fit perfectly even after two trips through washer (cold water) and dryer (low heat).

Rated 4 out of 5áby agatha2 very comfprtable to wear!
They are not heavy and are much cooler in warmer weather. I bought the stonewash and a white pair, Because of the "light weight" of them I was able to wear the white one a number of times this
summer. They were comfortable and cool. They have washed
well.....without shrinking or looking worn. My only con is that I wish they were a touch slimmer in the thigh/leg area.....a personal
preference is all and that is the only reason I rated them a 4 star
instead of a 5!

It is very difficult to get slacks or jeans that come up to my waistline. Many of the new items are hip huggers. These jeans were great as they not only came up to my waist but also were the correct length.

Rated 5 out of 5áby hubbyofshopper Great fit and light enough weight!
I was delighted to find white jeans that fit beautifully. (At 5'7" and 140# I bought two pair in size 10.) These are not "mom" jeans, but with a real waistline, they stay in place without drooping down to the crotch. I noted the concern expressed by other shoppers about the 'heavier weight,' but considering that white garments often need to be lined, I'd rather have an extra 3 oz of fabric than have my underwear showing!
