Rated 5 out of 5 by RavenandShilohsmom Great jacket good price
The jacket is well made and fits well. If you wear a 12, order the large, not medium. It is fitted. I ordered the large and it is perfect. I ordered a white one, too, and it is great, also.

Love, love this jacket. I just bought the light pine color. I also have the medium blue and the navy blue. They go with so many outfits, dressy or casual. I do, however, wish the jacket was lined.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LabQueen Perfect summer blazer
I ordered this jacket in white. It is a perfect fit for me. I am 5'6" tall, weigh about 145, and usually wear a size 12. I find that ordering the petite sizes from L.L. Bean work the best for me, because the jacket sleeves are always too long in the regular sizes. In this particular jacket the Petite Medium was the best fit for me. It is high quality, washable (a plus for a white summer jacket), and can be dressed up or down.

Rated 3 out of 5 by yishun aw! lookit the widdle, widdle pockets!
Bean, oh Bean.
Whatever have you done?
Nice things first: Great tailoring; sturdy seaming, nice workmanship. Boxy at the waist, but a girl can't have everything. This jacket is definitely going to last.
Now, the crazy-making part: Bean, what on earth am I meant to store in these pockets? Barrettes? Cough drops? One ID card? Five of my business cards?
I have normal-sized hands, and I can't even get my whole paw into one of the front pockets.
It's okay, I thought, I still have this awesome, fantastic interior chest pocket that no women's blazers ever come with to rely on. I can put my airline ticket in there, maybe my passport. I won't have to wear a bum bag anymore. (I know, I know. Just...they're really useful, okay?)
But no. Imagine my distress upon realizing that this pocket, too, will just barely fit some folded-up dollar bills.
I'm sad, Bean. Yours is the only great jacket* out there for a reasonable price. I am grateful, but please excuse me while I find something else to store my wallet in.*** >.<
*Am I keeping it? Yes. But I'm going to go talk to my tailor, see if he can't do something about these wee storage compartments** you've made me.
**You know what they remind me of? Those tiny little snack-sized Ziploc bags. The ones you can fit five baby carrots in. Or three mini Peppermint Patties.
***Oh, look, I've found a tiny pen I can put in my pocket. Now, to find a tiny notebook...

Rated 3 out of 5 by Cricketsoup Not really a blazer
I am returning this jacket. It is too fitted at the waist, the fabric is too heavy, the unnecessary top stitching on the seams is puckered. It is more like a fitted suit jacket than a blazer!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Tollerlover slightly fitted? more like very fitted
Please, LL Bean, there is a definite size difference between slightly fitted and relaxed. All of your items that your call "slightly fitted", yet are somehow the same measurements as relaxed, are very fitted. This blazer is a prime example. Please be aware that some of us are not pear shaped but have broader shoulders with smaller waists. Sadly, this blazer won't work, similar to some of the "slightly fitted" sweaters.

Rated 4 out of 5 by bosshossgirl I think it runs a little big
I normally wear a 10. I am 5.5 inches. 145lbs. The sleeves were too long (I was going to hem them. I had read previous reviews). The LARGE jacket itself was a little too big for me, too. Waiting on exchange now. I did like the quality of the jacket. They say you can't wear blue jean jacket with jeans the same color, so I thought this would be great. I have the llbean blue jean jacket in a large. Was surprised this jacket was too big.. I am getting a medium white. We will see what happens.

Rated 4 out of 5 by DJinSoMS Works for me!
This is a casual blazer; no surprise as it is a twill fabric. I normally wear a size 10. Considering the reviews of others regarding the sleeve length, I ordered a white one in petite medium. It fits me perfectly. The sleeves hit the wrist bone. It has gentle shaping; it's not boxy. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that mine, too, arrived terribly wrinkled. That's not LLBean's normal standard from my experience. I like the blazer, though, and will work out the wrinkles.

This blazer fits the bill! I bought the PS and the fit is tailor-made for me! I have a "DD" figure (5' tall, 119 lbs) and there was plenty of room to button it, yet it isn't boxy. I was afraid of the Peacock Blue being too bright, but it's a nice subtle marine blue color. The fabric is a little more casual weave, which is exactly what I wanted -- to dress up white jeans a bit! I'm just getting to know LLBean's sizing and finding them to be on the generous side -- a good thing!

Rated 4 out of 5 by TallShopperMI Three quarter sleeves?
I had to write a review of this jacket because I bought the jacket based on all of the other reviews. So many people commented about how long the sleeves are that I got excited and ordered the jacket. I'm 5'11" and sleeve length is a huge problem. For others who may buy this because of sleeve length, I guess only petite people find the sleeves too long. The sleeves do not come any where near my wrist. It looks like a 3/4 sleeve jacket on me, but not quite short enough to really pull it off. I will either have to roll the sleeves up or return the jacket. There is a bit of room in the hem for the sleeves to be taken out so I'm going to check with my tailor first. Because of the three buttons on the sleeve, I'm not sure they can be extended without moving all the buttons too.
The fit is very nice. I'm 5'11', about 165 lbs and the medium is a nice fit that's not too snug. The weight seems nice for a summer jacket. I really wish the sleeves were longer!!
