I bought 3 of these last year, am buying another now, and would buy more if the color choice were broader. These fit closely indeed, but size S copes with both my 5'1" stature and excessive bosom. The fabric is comfortable even in our hot sticky summers, and thank goodness for the longer sleeves. At my age (75), I don't do short sleeves, which limits severely the styles I like. The slightly scoopy shirttails are a nice touch and provide a more finished un-tucked look. I wash these shirts in cold, low-temp dry, and have noticed no shrinkage.

Rated 2 out of 5 by BicycleGal How did this pass inspection?
I received my West End tee and could immediately tell, even before opening the plastic bag, that it was flawed. The tee was cut completely off grain and crooked. I tried it on and noted that it was already pulling askew across my torso, in a sort of bias direction. One washing and it would be unwearable as we all know how knits will pull in their natural direction. This garment was cut off grain at the factory, then pressed, and packaged. Somewhere along the production line it should have been inspected, rejected and never sent out for sale. Not only that, but once at the Bean warehouse and at the time it was pulled for mailing, it should have been rejected as you could very obviously see the biasing through the plastic bag.
The knit fabric and color [dark indigo heather] and the styling are nice, but the shirt as sewn and sent to me, unwearable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by dobergirl I love these tees
I am tall and struggle to find longer tees that aren't boxy. I ordered up a size to an XL. They fit perfectly and launder well enough. The fabric is thinner.....which I like. They are slightly fitted but very forgiving around my middle-aged waist. These are perfect for casual looks with jeans and shorts. I like the heather colors, but, wish LL Bean would make some more fashion forward colors. The oyster blue is pretty on line but very light in person. A bit disappointing. That said, I will order more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by sfteacher Great style
The style is perfect, round neck , not too high, fitted and great color choices. I usually wear a medium in LL Bean( 5'9" 170, 38B), the large fit well. It is fitted, not at all loose, but perfect to wear with skirts for work. If you have lumps and bumps it will show all. I only wish LL Bean would make this style and COLORS in a pima cotton for a dressier look. This fabric is a bit rough. The colors are soft and grayish which I like to wear with beige and gray skirts for the office.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DeirdreN Comfortable and cute
I purchased one last year. It is very lightweight and comfortable. I would love to order more, I am just waiting for colors that I'm more interested in.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Run6014 Better neckline would make this a 5-star shirt
Likes: West End shirts in general for quality of material, nice fit and longer length.
Dislike: This neckline is flattering but it is constantly puckering out when I move around. I prefer the neckline on the West End short-sleeved and sleeveless shirts.
I bought this shirt in orange. Great color (it is truly orange as in Halloween).

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lobstafan Love it
I purchased tops in both colors and love them. I first bot them in L size but they were too small so returned for XL and so far so good. The material does wrinkle but I just touch them up a little. As an added note I am not very top heavy so these might not work if big busted. I wish there were other colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by WestBoothbayHarbor Love this tee
This is a really special tee shirt, and if it is what you are looking for you will love it. The material is quite thin and is slightly puckered, a warm weather fabric. The fit is very close, so if you don't want it to be completely form fitting order up one size. I find it is a great layering piece, looks great under a vest or a jacket and the light fabric is a plus. The colors are beautiful and have a rather sophisticated look. If you are looking for a heavy duty tee shirt suitable for chores, etc. this is not for you. If you want a nice light tee that is versatile and can be dressed up, go ahead and order!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anneliza Not quite what I expected
This is more fitted that I expected, and much thinner. The shadow of my underwear shows through. It is very comfortable and soft, but I won't be wearing it out of the house.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Habitatqueen Extremely disappointed
I love the colors and style of this Tee. However, the first time I washed it (exactly as per directions for wash and dry) it is EXTREMELY wrinkled. I will have to iron the entire tee every time I launder it. About 50% of my wardrobe is from LL Bean and this will be my least favorite item.
