Rated 5 out of 5 by bluekbaby favorite llbean tee
I purchased this shirt in two sizes due to some reviews advising to size up. I usually wear an XS and it is no different in this tee. I think it may seem to run small if you don't normally wear a fitted tee but it is the only shirt from LLBean that has fit me right because it IS actually fitted and not baggy in the midsection. Very flattering shape, lightweight material and nude undergarments take care of any possible show through on the lighter colors. I have purchased several since my original buy and sure to get more!

Returned. The colors and style were lovely -- I liked the length and the cut of the neck in particular -- but, as other reviewers have commented, the fabric was thin and the light colors see-through. The fit was also too tight to allow for a cami layer. Pity! (I'm a 5'4'', 115 lb, B-cup; purchased size Misses Regular XS.)

The beauty of this tee lies in the shape of its neckline. It reminds me of the graceful, flattering necklines of dance leotards, from days of yore and yearning.
The neckline is not overpowering, but perfectly proportioned to the size I ordered. Not as difficult as a boatneck, nor as wide and deep as a scoopneck, nor as high as a jewel neck or crew; rather it is just right.
And I measured, from the center front of the neckline down to the center front of my bra underneath. This tee covered my bra by 3 inches, front and center.
I was smitten with the Navy, Blue Pine (a greenish turquoise), and Cornflower Blue ( everyone's favorite blue hue). But the paler colors require that wardrobe staple, the Ugly Brown Bra (UBB), or the Ugly Brown Booster Bra (UBBB), commonly called a T-shirt bra. The Aqua Sea was such a gentle, beautiful color, but my skin tone showed right through it.
I love the face-framing, owner-loving ballet neckline, and I want to say that this trumps all. But I think this tee could be better. I would prefer a more substantial fabric, and I hope you will consider offering that.

I am about to order my fourth West End tee. They are light, lovely, and long! I normally wear a medium in LLBean clothing, but I wear a large in this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by digitalmagistra Love this shirt!
I found my first shirt in the factory store. Love the way it fits (feminine & fitted and long enough!) and the light material. I was surprised to read the comments about sizing; I normally wear a M and the M fit just fine. I went back to the main store to try on other colors, and as I usually do, I tried on various ones of the same size since I've found that if one doesn't quite fit, another one usually does. This was true for this shirt too. I tried on two different ones and one fit great, the other was big. So for those ordering online, I would suggest getting multiples of the same size and keep the one that fits then return the others.

I was lucky enough to get this tee in cornflower blue while it was still available and fell in love with it! I have since ordered five more colors and love them all. They are just perfect for me: form fitting without being clingy, long enough to look great with my lower-waisted jeans and pants, and the colors are lovely! This is just the overall perfect 3/4 sleeve tee...thanks, LL Bean! :)

A lovely shirt in all ways except sizing: this one runs very small! I wish I had heeded other reviewers' comments and ordered a size up. Had to exchange it for a larger size.
The blue pine is a pretty colour, the fabric is soft and light weight but not sheer. Nice neckline styling and length. Would love to see more 3/4 sleeve lengths.

Rated 3 out of 5 by TooManyCats Adorable but order up a size
I am always a size L in LLBean with room to spare, but not with this top. It was as tight as a sausage casing. I got the Mint stripes version and I love everything else about this top. It's fresh looking; it's a light weight cotton, and the colors are beautiful. Now I just have to figure out if it's worth it to try the XL.

Love this shirt but I ordered my usual XS regular and it fits quite snugly. Since it is actually almost tunic length on me, I'd prefer that it be a bit larger. I am 5'4" and slim so I was surprised to find this shirt to be tight, since I always order the XS.
Also, fabric is thin so you may want to have a tank or sport top to wear under it.
