Rated 5 out of 5 by momma2two Gorgeous,well-made and fits well
I ordered a petite med in the coral color. I'm 5'2" and 120 lbs and the sleeve length is to my wrist and the length is to the top of my hips. It's not too tight or loose. If I went smaller, the arms would be too tight for sure. I love the color and quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ilovebooks Great classic style in cotton!
I have this cardigan in the regular navy and also the novelty stitch and love them both. I'm not a wool fan so it's really nice to see well-made, classic styles in cotton. I agree with other reviewers that the novelty stitch runs a little larger than the solid color. It's also a softer, looser knit. Both are very nice. For size reference, I'm slender (5'5"/105#) and got the XS regular. Both are roomy enough to layer over a tee, button down, turtleneck, light sweater, etc. - although the solid version is a little more fitted, as mentioned, I'm considering the mallard color next, but would really like to see more neutral and classic colors (gray, brown, burgundy, camel, etc.).

I am head-over-heals in love with this sweater! I ordered it in the cream, and it looks just like one of those $100 Irish sweaters that are made of wool and have to be dry-cleaned. But this sweater is of the softest, coziest cotton (which does NOT have to be dry-cleaned like wool). The cable design is gorgeous. I love my Coveside cardigan so much that I ordered the Coveside pullover sweater, too! I am hopeful that next season, LL Bean will bring the Coveside sweaters back and add even more colors: made a hot pink???

Rated 3 out of 5 by Meglemre A little small and the color is off.
I should have read the other reviews before ordering. The sweater does run small. I typically wear a small in every brand (5'8" 128) but I felt it was a little snug as I like my clothes to be a little big.
I also felt that the natural color was almost yellow, definitely not creamy or beige. I would have returned it for a larger size happily if the color had been more cream and less yellow.

Despite the sizing issues, I love this sweater. I love the fact that you have taken the usual wool fisherman's sweater and made it from cotton. It is made of high quality yarn and does not pill. I hope you will continue to offer this sweater. I usually order large. This sweater is snug but satisfactory, especially worn open or closed with one button. Good job!

Bought this is a size XL and could barely try the thing on so back it goes. The teal is a bright teal, not at all subtle. Not impressed with this sweater.

Rated 5 out of 5 by sweatersavvy Perfect shade of coral
This sweater just came in the mail and I tried it on and except for the sleeves being a little long (I can turn up the cuffs) it fits well. Many reviews said it runs small so I bought an extra large rather than my usual large. I am 5'8" 160 lbs. The coral color is neither pastel nor too bright, and looks like springtime even though I could also wear it with black slacks for Halloween. It is a hefty sweater and with a long sleeved shirt under it will be a good winter weight sweater. On me it looks better open than buttoned up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JaneF LOVE THIS SWEATER BUT RUNS SMALL
I normally wear a medium to large but bought this sweater in extra large after reading reviews. I have now purchased it in each color offered and receive a lot of complements when wearing it. Great sweater but runs very small.

This is a beautiful sweater and is constructed well. Just be aware that it runs on the small side. I would order a size up and I usually wear a Bean small. I am 5'7" and 120 lbs.
