No ironing! Beautiful material. I put the blouse in the dryer for a few spins then hung it on a plastic hanger to completely dry. It is definitely fitted front and back offering a nice alternative to the boxier oxford shirts I have from Bean. (Love those, too). This shirt easily layers under a pullover sweater or blazer, tucks in nicely or looks great out. I love the more open collar; its much easier to dress up with a simple strand of pearls than a tighter fitting collar would be. Ordered another color.

by Blackcoffee The color is off...
If you order the shirt, the Light Apricot color doesn't look like color pictured in the catalog. I got a Lt. Pink and and Lt. Apricot shirt at the same time and they are almost identical. Bean sent a replacement shirt right away...but it had the same color as the first.
So.... it's a great shirt and the Bean customer service was great...just be advised that the the shirt color doesn't match the catalog. Here's a picture of the 2 Apricot and 1 pink shirts.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Carol55 More fitted than expected, but very nice
I wear Bean cotton oxford shirts every day at home and buy them regularly. This one is a bit more fitted than I expected. I think the darts in the back were one step too far, so I will be going back to my favorite regular fit. I have noticed that the fabric in the newer shirts seems to be a higher quality cotton and I am glad that the pleat in the back is gone on the regular fit (that made it too boxy). The sleeves seem to be a little longer, too. I just wish there were more colors to choose from.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ChicagoCityShopper Love the updated oxford shirt!
This shirt is what I've been waiting for-it is the same substantial 100% cotton oxford with an updated, slightly fitted, design. I prefer the natural, not the no-iron because it wears wonderfully and I feel the fabric 'breaths'. I purchased an XL my normal size in the newer fitted style. I wear a L if not fitted. I'm 5'7, 184 and slightly curvy. I've washed and ironed the 2 shirts I purchased #yes, I iron# and have not had any shrinkage #although I don't dry them completely in the dryer#. I think they would still be fine without ironing too. The quality is great-I purchased them in early 2014. Thanks for listening, LLBean!

Rated 4 out of 5 by LeeIdaho Nice color, a little thick
I wish there was a button for 'maybe' recommend to a friend. What you should know: it's a little broad in the shoulders, with the armpits not quite fitting in the right place, which means it pulls when you raise your arms. I'm a very standard size 6 on top. I ordered a small. It's a little baggy, but a nice length - both arms and torso. The biggest bummer is the material; it is thicker than I thought it would be, not a nice thin cotton that a typical business dress shirt would be, making it more casual than i'd want it to be.

Rated 4 out of 5 by sweatersavvy Good shirt for spring
This shirt is advertised as being fitted, but I bought it in my usual size and it fits loosely enough to be flattering. I am 5'8", 155 lbs. and take a large. I do find that the neck opening is a bit large on me, and I may wear the collar without the button-down look. I love the narrow stripes of white alternated with a color, though there should be more colors offered. The fabric is wonderful! It comes out of the dryer with a smooth but not "wrinkle resistant" look, and I'll be interested to see how it softens up with each wash.
