Rated 5 out of 5 by RandomReviewer17 Comfortable and great fit
I ordered my usual size (10L) and it fit perfectly. I swim laps and its the most comfortable suit I've gotten in many years. I had no trouble getting in and out of it. I just ordered two more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by KPeg Promising suit
I swim five days a week for an hour a day in the local YMCA pool, which is heavily chlorinated. I have the previous model of this suit and it has held up better than any of my extra chlorine resistant Speedos. So far it's lasted about nine months instead of the three I usually get from the Speedos. I plan to buy another.
There are only two things I can complain about - the sizing is not accurate. I ordered according to the sizing chart and went for one size up from what I usually wear and it was VERY snug. I ordered a back up suit that was two sizes up from my normal size and it was a little more comfortable, although the butt was a teensy bit saggy. The second complaint I have is the lining. It does not seem to be made of the same level of chlorine resistant fabric since it has stretched out considerably and hangs out through the leg holes. I have to reach in from the neck and pull it up and it will stay put while I swim but makes the stomach area look all wrinkly and weird. So I wish they would fix that. Otherwise though, this is a great suit - better than any others I can find on the market now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by FitGirl64 Excellent suit
I ordered this suit prior to a 3 week vacation where I would be spending 2-3 hours each day in heavily chlorinated pools and hot tubs. I waited until I returned before writing a review so I would know whether it would hold up, as in the past most suits have not.
This suit fit me perfectly and I was extremely pleased from the moment I tried it on. It was also very comfortable both in and out of the pool.
After heavy use, there was no color fading at all nor was it stretched out in the least. It still looks brand new. I look forward to using it all summer, albeit mostly lake swimming, not pool.
I wear a size 2-4 and was glad the 4 fit perfectly. I am 5'3 and weigh 104, so I admit I am a bit on the small side. I am extremely thrilled to have this suit - had many complements on the color, style and fit. Very flattering. I ordered the coral print and look forward to ordering more suits from LL Bean. Happy that they stock size 4 as this is a very difficult size to find.

Rated 2 out of 5 by mileswimmer Latex warning
I ordered this suit on sale in September to have on hand when my BeanSport suit wore out and began using it some in January. I was hoping it would hold up a little better to the chlorine and hot tub than the BeanSport suits (that I love enough to keep buying anyway). I also gave a Racerback Lap suit to my daughter for Christmas. My daughter loves hers. I found mine to be difficult to take off because it was tight and doesn't stretch much (even though I ordered a size up as people suggested). I also found that the rear doesn't have as much coverage as the BeanSport suit, which my daughter didn't find to be a problem, but was less comfortable for me. The real problem I encountered was that I realized I was having an allergic reaction to the suit because the latex elastic wasn't entirely covered in the straps. I'm sensitive to latex and avoid direct contact. These would also rub heavily on my legs as I slid the suit off causing a reaction there as well. I've ended up returning the suit and getting another BeanSport suit.

Rated 2 out of 5 by seattleswim Not if you're larger than a Bcup
Agree with previous reviewers. Suit is a size too small overall. I'm a true Size 6 albeit a D cup. This racer back suit looks like it has good coverage in the pictures but NOT when it finally arrived and I tried it on.
If you're a B cup or smaller, that may work. Otherwise, there'll eb spillage on the sides (YIKES). Returning this one! Also agree with other reviewer that return shipping should be FREE or discounted when merchandise fit is poor and not customer's fault.
I will only recommend suit to those who are NOT busty or even above average in the chest.

Rated 1 out of 5 by synchro Very dissappointed
Ordered this suit is long 16 which is the size of lap suit I wear, but this suit was way too small. As well, it is not described as having soft cups which are clearly visible from the outside.
From Canada it cost me well over $12.00 to return this suit even after making the original mailing package half it's size and using the return label (trying to keep my cost down).
Returns are much too expensive for me to take the chance and order any more swimwear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lablvr Awesome swim tank
I swim @ my local YMCA 5 days a week & I purchased this suit as an alternate to my speedo swim tank, now this is my new favorite suit! It is very comfortable while doing laps & looks sharp too!
I ordered up 1 size after reading reviews and the fit is perfect.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ktfd1 Pretty swimsuit in blue
Nice looking swimsuit in blue. Bought 12 Reg (I measured 64 ") using the sizing chart but it was too small. Ordered a second swimsuit in 12 Long which fit much better. My regular LLBean size is Med (10-12) and I needed the extra couple of inches in the torso. I am 51 years old, 5'6" and 150 lbs with an athletic build (read this as broad shoulders) and small bust for reference. I really like the racerback design. I am planning on using this at the beach this summer.

Rated 2 out of 5 by pard1952 TOO SMALL!!
I ordered according to the sizing chart. Way too small. The overall impression is that it is well made, but not correctly sized. And now I do not know if I should exchange it for a larger size, how much larger? Or send back for a refund.
