Rated 5 out of 5áby ActiveMomCanada Warm and waterproof
I had been looking for a truly waterproof raincoat that was Primaloft lined (I had pretty specific requirements!). Lo and behold, I came across this coat from LL Bean. It is exactly what I wanted. It is truly waterproof and has kept me completely dry in downpours (without an umbrella). The zip out Primaloft lining appears to be thin, but is actually very warm and takes this jacket from Summer rain to Fall rain.
I am 5'5'', 116 lbs, and wear the Misses' XSmall. It is a good fit, with plenty of room to layer a sweater underneath.

Rated 5 out of 5áby muddyhands great fit, breathable yet warm.
This jacket has a great fit. I've noticed that many manufacturers are cutting the sleeves very narrow, as a result it is difficult to lift your arms. This coat is cut perfectly, I am able to move and it is very well made. I just wish it would come in more interesting colors.

Rated 5 out of 5áby Travelershopper Great Jacket- waterproof and warm
I ordered this jacket for a recent trip to Alaska. I ordered both the jacket and the coat and ended up returning the jacket, as I preferred the length of this coat. Tan color is great and it kept me completely dry and surprisingly warm in 40-50 degree weather. Highly recommend it. Just beware it does run very large. I had to order a size down.

Rated 2 out of 5áby Jericho Disappointing raincoat
I have had an LL Bean khaki-colored raincoat for years --great fabric, attractive fit with room to wear over sweaters, washable BUT it now has a few stains that won't come out so I ordered this as a replacement. The fabric is not as classy as my old rain coat and feels plasticy. Also, it is a snug fit (I usually wear a medium in LL Bean clothes). Sadly, I have returned it.

Ordered the H2Off Raincoat in size large (which I always order). Fit perfectly! I am 5'6 150 lbs. I was nervous about the fit after reading the reviews but it was great. I ordered the bright blue and the color is beautiful. I live in Winnipeg so wanted an all weather jacket -we don't have a really rainy climate here. But its a nice fabric and should do nicely for rain or shine. I am very pleased with it!

I just received this 3/4 coat, and expect to like it, especially for travel. I need the rain protection, but not all the length that a full-length coat provides. (My suitcase isn't very big.) I ordered two--a XS and an S because other reviewers said the coat runs large. Believe me, it does not! I'm, keeping the XS (5'3/110). There's plenty of room for layers beneath. in fact, from my perspective, this model runs larger than both of my earlier H2Off coats, which I have in size S to get the length. (I do wish it came in fire=-engine red.)

I had an LL Bean raincoat, happily, for years. Someone took it at a party. :-(. I ordered this one when it was on sale, and was delighted to be getting a replacement at last.
Unfortunately, not to be. Much too short for good protection in a heavy rain. Hood not removable.

I'm planning to use this raincoat in a colder, wetter climate than where I curently am. But Texas has been surprisingly cold and wet this winter as well, so it's been great to have here this week. This coat has a comfortable added layer of warmth to it without being bulky. It's not very shiny. I plan to use it in an urban, rainy setting and had hoped for a slightly dressier look than it is (though didn't expect it, just would have liked it).
Mostly I'm writing in regard to sizing, since it was a bit confusing to me which size to order. I wear a size 8 comfortably, am 5'2'' and the petite medium is a great fit, falling just above my knees. Plenty of room for lighter layering, even with the middle cinched. Love that the arms snap to make a tighter fit, as my wrists are fairly small.

Rated 2 out of 5áby Inkwells Fits at least two sizes smaller than last season's
I have two of last season's coats in size small, and they fit with room to spare. Just received size small in this version and it won't even zip over my bust. Am worried the medium would still be too snug there. I have not grown, and while I would expect some differences in an updated version, this seems like a pretty extreme fluctuation. No garment measurements listed, and I don't have $600 laying around to allow me to buy three sizes of a coat to get the right size. Multiple exchanges are not usually an option as sizes and colors sell out. I'm pretty disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5áby Sunshine908 Runs small
I checked I would recommend, with apprehension as I have not used this Rain Coat yet as I am not sure I should keep it as the size medium I purchased is a tight fit. I did read a review that did say it ran small. I am a size 10 and thought the large would be too big. This is the problem when ordering clothing. I purchased a downs long winter coat last year and it is a size medium; a good fit except the pockets are too small?is this a way of cutting the cost?
