Great quality, love the bright purple, makes me visible to cars when walking on fall days when there is little sunlight, runs a bit large, that is nice if you want to wear it over a bulky sweater

This jacket is so well made. I'm sure I will use it for years to come. It is true to size & allows you to wear warm clothes underneath. It has a flattering fit & the hood comes out far enough to shield your face. Overall, I am very happy & glad I bought this jacket. Well worth the money!

áby Rpay03 Good, not perfect
I bought this to replace an L. L. Bean rain jacket that I have worn out. I loved that jacket but was interested in one that had a zip out lining. I ordered the navy. It isn't deep navy. It is lighter than I thought it would be. The fit is good. The price is ridiculous for a rain jacket. I will post a picture of my old jacket which you no longer carry (Grrrrr) and the new "not really navy" one. I will keep it but I'm not sure it's worth the price. It certainly is not as cute.

I didn't need a rain jacket but did want a warm good looking windbreaker and this is perfect! The purple blue color is gorgeous and it's made beautifully, very comfortable and room for a sweater.

Rated 4 out of 5áby bartandscotty Nice Jacket, with a couple of caveats
Runs true to size, sleeve snaps tighten wrist opening, liner removes and reinstalls easily. Waist drawstring is difficult to use and, despite being described as "falls to hip," the jacket barely reaches the top of my (5''8") hip - photos are somewhat deceptive. I debated between this jacket and the same item in the 3/4 length raincoat and now that I see how short the jacket is, wish I'd chosen the coat instead...still considering an exchange. However, quality appears excellent.

Do you know how hard it is to find a simple winter rain jacket? Not all of your customers live where it is 0 degrees from Nov. to March. I have been waiting for the past few years for a product like this to be available--a rain jacket that is not too heavy but could be worn with a fleece vest during the winter months on rainy Seattle days. This jacket is perfect. I also like that there is no plaid or printed lining. It is simple, fits well, and there is a good color selection. When my daughter saw mine she wanted one too, so I ordered one for her for a gift. Love it!

I had bought the longer, unlined version in the Bordeaux color in the spring and loved it so much (because of how comfortable the fabric felt in wet weather) that I wanted the shorter version, too. The Navy color was sold out, so I ordered the lined one; this will be great for New England fall and my upcoming trip to Europe. The only thing I do not like that much are the pleats in the back; not very flattering if you have a protruding behind anyway. Also, since this jacket seems to be such a hit, why not offer a Long style (I have a long waist)?

Rated 5 out of 5áby GeorgiaPeech Great jacket, good length, and it's waterproof!
I recently purchased this jacket to take with me on a trip abroad and wasn't disappointed! It is true to fit, and the most waterproof a jacket has ever been for me with the exception of rubber raincoats. Many jackets advertised as waterproof are only "water resistant" and end up soaking up the rain. This one kept me quite dry - and it rained nearly every day we were there. The color I purchased, violet blue, was actually what I would call purple, but I loved it when I saw it in person. Colors never seem to be true when you see them online. Nice longer over the hip length adds to the waterproof experience. A little pricey, I thought, but a great jacket. I would do it again.

Last year i Purchased an XL petite and the fit was fine. this year it is too small. Tried on last year's and it still fit fine. Have sent this back.
Hope you are going to bring back a PARKA like this (in these great colours) with insulated sleeves.
My mistake is that this is a jacket, thus, three inches shorter and the sleeves are uninsulated. otherwise i would have ordered the next size up.
Also, do not think the back design very flattering as a jacket. Probably fine as a coat.

The fabric is beautiful to look at and the lining is just the right weight for gusty rains. Simply put: I don't get wet and I stay warm without getting hot. I live in a semi tropical climate and can take the lining out. When I visit the Midwest and Northeast, I zip it back in, so this is versatile, flattering fit, great fabric, stay dry - what more can you ask for in a raincoat!
