This shirt is perfect for me. Long button placket is perfect for us women with good size chest. It is nice and long fits me mid hip. Also, washes beautifully. I just ordered another. Hope you make more next year, and/or have some long sleeve ones for winter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Taxie Why no more feminine three-quarter sleeves polos?
I bought this pretty polo, but as an older woman, I would prefer not to parade my arm flaps ; )
Three-quarter sleeves are now offered only in that sad "Saturday T-shirt" cut -- boxy, with 2-button opening, depressing colors.
Please, LLBean: offer at least one pretty 3/4 sleeve, SLIGHTLY FITTED polo again, and in upbeat colors.

The sleeves are much shorter in real life. I could tell as soon as I pulled the shirt out of the package. They did not look like the picture, sort of like a tiny cap sleeve.
I put the shirt on and I could tell it was going to be very uncomfortable to wear. I don't have heavy arms, but the tiny inseam dug at my underarms and the short sleeves just looked awkward.
Such a let down. I had such high hopes for this shirt. It's going back.

Rated 3 out of 5 by fullhouse Cute shirt, odd cut especially the sleeves
This shirt is cute especially the contrasting colors on the collar and buttons. However it seems cut strange, especially the sleeves which seem to short for the shirt. I bought this shirt for my mom (she's elderly but spry!) and when she put it on it almost looked like she was trying to wear a kid's shirt. Everything seems cut "small" especially the sleeves even though the overall sizing was correct - she wears a small in all other LL Bean shirts and a medium would have been too big. So it wasn't the sizing, it's just the cut of the shirt.
Cute style, just an off-fit. On a positive note, the fabric is very nice and someone looking for a non-boxy polo shirt might find this shirt is just what they're looking for.

Rated 4 out of 5 by fabcatlady Please offer fitted & relaxed options for polo
In 2010 & 2011, you offered the "Stretch Double L Polo," which is a prior version of this new polo. I bought the Stretch Double L Polo in both the short-sleeved and 3/4 length versions in multiple colors. It was a great shirt. In the Stretch Double L Polo, the Medium had a 15" shoulder, a 37 1/2" chest, a 24 3/4" length, and a 40 1/2" sweep. It was a "fitted" or "slightly fitted" style by LL Bean's standards. The Stretch Double L Polo was replaced by the "Stretch Pique Polo," which lasted only one year. The Small in that shirt had a 15" shoulder and a 38" chest. This new polo has yet different measurements. The Medium has a 15" shoulder but a chest measurement of 40"! There is no way I can wear a shirt with that large of a chest measurement, but I can't go smaller than 15" in the shoulder. PLEASE offer this polo in two different cuts, as you do your Premium Double L Polo: a slightly fitted version with a Medium having the same measurements as the discontinued Stretch Double L Polo, and the relaxed version with the Medium having the measurements of this new polo. If you would add some additional great colors, such as True Blue and a bright, medium toned purple (with no gray undertones) or an orchid color, I would buy several of them. The current pink offering is a repeat of an old color that I purchased in the Stretch Double L Polo, and it is great. Also, please offer this polo in a 3/4" length sleeve. Thank you so much!

Rated 5 out of 5 by mgray Tailored and longer!!
I love this shirt, it is more tailored than most and for a change is long enough to wear either out or tucked in. I hang dry most of my shirts because I don't want to lose length and this was no exception. It didn't really need ironing but I ran an iron over it anyway. I wish that the collar wasn't so different in color for the darker ones. I bought 3 of the white and a yellow and love them. As apposed to others I find the sleeve length perfect. It doesn't cut you in the middle of the arm nor is it too "capped". A long sleeve option with cuffs the same material as the placket and collar would be really nice...but PLEASE make the sleeves long enough.

Rated 4 out of 5 by WAtraveler Not Quite Perfect Polo
The online photos of this polo showed an updated style with great longer placket and woven collar and trim. I haven't worn polos in the past few years and decided to try the new style. Unfortunately, the cut of the shirt wasn't very updated or flattering for a somewhat curvy body and the sleeves were an awkward length. The fabric felt like it wouldn't breathe well on a summer day. Perhaps next year!

Rated 2 out of 5 by sdlady Woven collar & placket disappointing
I was unhappy to find that the shirt's woven cotton collar and placket are not made of wrinkle-free fabric. I pulled the it immediately from the dryer after a low-heat cycle and found the collar and placket both needed pressing. This should be a wash and wear item. I don't want a polo shirt that needs ironing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Quiltdream LOVE this shirt
Normally, I am not a fan of polos, but this one is the exception. The shirt has a great length and is made with quality fabric. I especially like the collar which is a woven cotton and lies flat. A very preppy shirt. Will likely order another.

Rated 3 out of 5 by trailrunner88 poorly tailored
I really love the colors, fabric, and style. The woven poplin collar is unique and makes this polo dressier. But the cut is terrible. The sleeves are so short and the arm holes are so wide that when I lift my arms, my bra is easily visible through the enormous arm holes. I thought this unusual tailoring might be the result of a mistake but the shirt I exchanged it for has the same problem.
