Since my favorite color was only available in S, I gave it a whirl, not much risk w/free shipping. To my surprise, S fit me perfectly (I'm an athletic 36C with a large swimmer's back, so usually an M); easy room for 1-2 thin layers underneath. I currently wear it in 30-40deg weather with a short sleeve t-shirt underneath for outdoor labor - works great without sweat or cold, and quite wind resistant. Sleeves are slightly long, but I like that since it keeps my hands warmer if I can't wear gloves. For some larger hands/wrists, the band may be somewhat tight.
The jacket is slightly noisy, but i expected that from a down-type.
As thin as it is, $129 is way too much.. especially if you live in a cold climate b/c you will need more layers.
At least I got free socks for hubby through the $10 gift card.. I will keep the jacket at the high price but only because I happen to like it so much, not because of a great value. Hopefully it will hold up as long as my LLBean H2 rain jacket that seems indestructible.

This is the perfect jacket for me: lightweight, warm and wind-stopping. I will be picking up another one - or two! - in a different color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gaylabelle Great lightweight jacket
Very happy with this purchase. Fit is comfortable, not too loose nor too snug. Amazingly light weight but warm, and packs easily. I especially like the fact that it doesn't look too puffy (like the Michelin man!).

Love my new jacket. The Ruby Coral is beautiful. I'm 5'1 and 118lbs with a muscular build and the Petite Small is a perfect fit everwhere..I'm glad I called to get the finished garment measurements. Nice and warm, packable and lightweight all in one. Great travel accessory.

Really love this jacket; it is more light weight than I thought it would be but every bit as warm as advertised. I really wanted pink but it was not in stock; I am pleased with the teal color and I like the gray details.

I wanted a jacket to wear over a fleece for those in-between days in the winter when a fleece and a regular parka are overkill. This seems to fit the bill. (I kind of wish I had purchased the one with the hood, though.) I have worn it numberous times over the past few mid-20's weeks, and sometimes have used it without the fleece on the warmer (30 degrees + days). It will be handy camping in the summer, too, I think, since it is packable.

so much so that I own 3 different colors. It's lightweight, very packable, and with a lite layer underneath keeps me warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 Awesome, WARM, jacket
I ordered this coat and it arrived this morning. I put it on, went outside to do chores and immediately ordered another one when I came back inside. I had started with LL Bean's Barn Coat and found it wasn't warm enough and was far too bulky. I wanted something simple and lightweight enough for me to move easily to do farm chores but warm enough for me to be comfortable in New England winters. This jacket is much, much warmer than it looks and it does a great job of keeping heat in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Candyrae Just what I wanted
I love the Packaway jacket! It fits just fine, it's lightweight and easy to wear. I will definitely pack it whenever I travel. I plan to get it in at least two more colors. It's exactly what I hoped it would be.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Blaize Warm, water-shedding, would like it more durable
I bought this jacket originally as a reasonably-priced, lightweight outer layer for my Appalachian Trail Thru-Hike next year. I have been wearing it around this winter in -20 to 40 degree weather with a fleece as a layer, so far, it has been a decent purchase.
Pros - I have taken this jacket directly out of the washer, put it on, walked outside in the freezing cold, and still remained warm. I once spilled a bunch of greasy food down the front of it, and all I had to do was take a wet wipe, and there was no trace of anything ever being there. I had forgotten the fly to my tent while camping, and a puddle pooled in the corner of my tent, where this jacket was sitting. I literally shook it a couple times, and it was back to normal.
Cons - Both the sleeves and the torso of the jacket are short, which I don't like, I only had the product for a couple weeks before the outer layer of fabric tore, this was while I was walking around a college campus, not walking through the woods.
I would prefer a more durable alternative, but for the price, it isn't bad.
