I love these shoes! I have had plantar fasciitis and the shoes are so comfortable. I have purchased insoles for added support and I have not worn the shoes without them. I wear these shoes from the time I get dressed until bedtime. My shoes size varies from 71/2 to 8 depending on the maker so as recommended I did buy a size 8. When it is time to purchase new shoes I will definitely go with these again.

I decided to purchase the Women's New Balance 890V4 Running Shoe during LL Bean's recent 10% off sale. I hoped they would fit, feel and perform as well as they looked, and my expectations were met. They're surprising lightweight, very stylish and comfortable. I like all the cushioning on the bottom and the high-tech color combo. I'm thinking of buying the new LL Bean CoolMax Nano Glide sport socks to go along with these. I've been wearing New Balance sneakers since I visited a podiatrist several years back and was fitted for a half orthotic due to over-pronation. The doctor recommended several brands of running shoes, the first being New Balance. I had never thought about investing in top quality, more expensive running shoes, but when I began experiencing intense pain in my ankles and feet (prior to the orthotic), I decided it was time to look for better running shoes. While I'm not a runner or exercise nut, I walk quite a bit both at work and at home. I ordered my regular size 7 as I do for all my New Balance running shoes, but needed to exchange them for a 7.5. I will continue to buy New Balance running shoes because they fit my feet the best, and provide support and comfort.

From the minute I put these on, I was ready to run. Ordered 1/2 size larger as recommended and they fit great. Very light weight.
