These fit in the waist and hips really well, but at 5' 2" they are too long for my liking. I will have them shortened a little, but really hate to pay to have something I bought as a petite altered.

These pants were not comfortable at all. The fabric was very stiff - not suitable to warm weather pants. The elastic in the waist was heavy and not very stretchy. I'm going back to the natural fit crops - sent these back and ordered the natural fit as I have liked them in the past.

My favorite fit pants are great, but the Favorite Fit cropped pants are much tighter, with a wrinkly fabric. So I tried these; they are also too tight and the fabric is not easy-care. They are going back.

These pants fit fine except that the thin elastic band in the waist causes the pockets to pull and gape even though the waist is not tight. If it has to stretch AT ALL, it pulls and gapes, thus defeating the purpose of having an expandable waist..
Like many others leaving feedback, I have bought the original comfort waist pants for years in several colors (and sizes). Now that I have lost weight, I am looking to replace them in a smaller size and they are not available. LL Bean say they are catering to women who want a smooth waistband so that other people can't tell they are wearing pants with elastic in the waistband. Seriously? There are a lot of us who do not tuck our shirts in and the thin elastic is uncomfortable on bare skin. Like so many other manufacturers, LL Bean is chasing a younger demographic, not realizing that we all get older, not younger. I will add my voice to the masses: Please bring back the original comfort waist in the crops and shorts. I at least have been able to get the pants.
