Rated 4 out of 5 by BellaGirl811 Cute mixed with Quality
These were purchased as work shoes. I get a lot of compliments on them for being cute. I walk about 7 miles a day between work and my daily commute. My ONLY problem is the width. I debated if I should have bought wide or not. I chose to buy the regular size, but turns out, I need wide because of all my walking. If you are looking for quality, these hold up to the L.L.Bean quality standard they are known for.

These shoes are really cute but really, really uncomfortable and hard to wear. The buckles don't work very well (I just took almost two minutes to get them both buckled), but this is a relatively minor problem. The footbed is really cushy and looks like it would make the shoes comfortable, but the upper is really stiff and molded and 1) doesn't fit my foot and 2) seems like it never will. The instep presses on the top of my foot uncomfortably and there is absolutely no 'give' to the leather. If you are used to wearing clogs, these shoes might be OK, otherwise not. I will give them another week but I think I'm going to have to take them back.

Rated 2 out of 5 by DoDoShoes Did not buckle easily
The holes in the straps to buckle the shoes are too small. They had to be made larger with a tool in order to buckle the shoes.

This shoe has a comfortable heel height. I can walk all day in these shoes. The toe is somewhat rounded so there is no pinching. The strap holds the shoe intact with no slipping. The only flaw I saw with the shoe is it's heavier than previous Mary Jane shoes I have had.
I would recommend this product.

I have now purchased my second pair of these shoes because I wore the first pair out completely. It is the most comfortable day/shoe if you have weak arches and are on your feet a lot. I am a runner and I experience plantar fascitis symptoms if my shoes do not have any arch support-not only do these shoes support my arches on a daily basis with no inserts, but they actually help my feet HEAL from soreness if I don't wear them for a while. I don't know what magical situation is going on beneath the footbed, but I will take it.

The shoe ran a bit small in length, so I got a 1/2 size larger. That worked. The shoes are comfortable, and allow for orthodics under the insole.
They are nice enough looking to wear with nice slacks to work, but not dressy, as the stiching is white.
My only complaint is that they are hard to put on. To buckle the shoe on is very awkward, so it takes awhile. Velcrose would be much easier. Figuring that as I wear them the eyelet will get easier to buckle into.

I ordered a larger size to see if the toe box would be taller. It's a weird thing to not fit right. everything else was okay.

Rated 1 out of 5 by painfullydisapointed not same comfy shoe
I thought I was getting the same comfy shoe that I loved, I brought a yr ago,I thought I was only getting a different color but only the outside looked the same! the insole wasn't leather nor comfy feel at all, the old style was more roomy so comfortable.the new shoes felt a little too short and narrow. I tried wearing them any way to see if they could be broken in but instead I ENDED UP falling .painfully disappointed !

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mizbikee Wonderful practical shoe
The women's market street mary janes look attractive enough to be worn with a dress and are comfortable for walking. I have jumped enough puddles to recognize that they are water resistant. The sole grips wet and uneven surfaces.
If I had any criticism it would be that they fasten with a buckle which makes it difficult to take on and off.
