Rated 5 out of 5áby ICACNC Comfortable shoes
Love these shoes. I purchased a pair of Keens and these at the same time for a trip to Europe. These are by far more comfortable and cushy on my feet. I love the extra cushy comfort they bring to my feet when walking around all day. My 10 year old son put them on (why I don't know) and wanted to wear them to bed because they are so springy. They do rub a bit under my ankle bone but that goes away after wearing them a couple of times. They also look great and can be dressed up or down for travel when you don't want to bring lots of different shoes.

Rated 5 out of 5áby TokyoTea Good shoes. I'm buying more.
I have a bad bunion and the toe box of the D width fits (although it did require a few wearings to stretch to my odd foot shape). Since I do best with a combination last, I too found the heel to be wide and wished there were more holes on the strap. But I think that's more my extreme foot shape than anything about the shoes.
I have difficulty finding shoes that work with my bunion, so I'm going to buy at least another pair of these. I must admit, I've never tried them in circumstances that required REAL walking (I've spent a good amount of my life in New York City and Tokyo, and that's a whole other category of foot experience!), but for everyday use, these work for me. Thanks, LLB.

Rated 1 out of 5áby LizzieVA Insole Issue
I love comfy Mary Janes, and I bought these when they first appeared on the website. They seemed to be very very comfy, and the only thing that really bothered me was that the red was not as red as I hoped that they would be.
I hadn't worn them too much until last month. I spent the day in them wandering around DC, and after a couple of hours the insole started to feel like I had a large stone under three of my toes. My toes started falling asleep every few minutes, and I would have to remove my feet from my shoes to get the circulation going again.
The shoes are far from being too small, I regularly spend hours on my feet daily, and I had walked the exact same route in DC a couple of months before in mule clogs with wood soles and no cushioning with no problems.
The weird lump that appears after wearing for a fairly short period in the insoles under my toes makes these shoes completely unwearable. We had to cut our outing short because I either needed to go buy new shoes or go home. I was worried I would do permanent damage. I wear all sorts of shoes with no problems, and I have never experienced this problem with other shoes.

Rated 2 out of 5áby D1000 Odd fit
I really wanted these shoes to work but the fit was rather odd, and I ended up returning them. Like other posters, I found the heel to be too wide while the toe box wasn't deep enough; my toe was hitting the top of the shoe. I tried tightening the strap as far as it would go. I also pulled out their (rather flimsy) insole and tried using several different orthotic insoles, but it just wasn't a good fit for me. Too bad, as they were otherwise well constructed in terms of the leather and arch support. I've ordered the Market Street skimmers in hope of a better fit.

Rated 2 out of 5áby 1324ster Cute but not good
The shoe is beautifully made and very cute. But for me the toe box was super tight and the heel area was huge. The balance was off with poor arch support.

The shoes fit very well, were comfortable in extended walking and looked good despite being worn all day.

Rated 2 out of 5áby Alggt these look like they came from Payless :(
I am disappointed in these. They just arrived and the quality is low. The leather on the strap is oddly attached so it appears cracked - or maybe it actually is cracked, I can't tell. The stitching is uneven, too, and the quality of the leather is subpar. In spite of this I *might* keep these anyhow if they were one-third the price, but I won't spend $90 on inferior shoes!

Rated 3 out of 5áby RIYogaGirl The straps are way too long
I agree with the other posters that the shoes are comfortable and well-made. The shoes fit me well through the toe box, however they were too wide for my heels. Also, the straps were way too long on the pair I received. There was over an inch of space between the strap and my foot when they were buckled on the last hole. In order to wear them, I would need to punch at least 2 more holes in the straps. Bummer - I really wanted these shoes to work.

Rated 5 out of 5áby HappyGrammy65 Well constructed and comfortable
It is hard to find shoes that fit me well. Shoe shopping is torture. I decided to give LLBean a try and am so glad that I did. This pair of shoes is well constructed and fit comfortably the first time I put them on. The sole is strong with some flexibility. I expect they will continue to fit well after several wears, but that will be the true test for me. Shoes often feel great for the first few wearings and then are not comfortable later, but I think this pair will be great for the long term.

OK, so the first thing I have to write is that I purchased these in-store, so I did not see the product description until I was glancing through the catalog. Basically, it fit me to a tee.
As did these shoes. These shoes are super comfortable, but unlike many similarly supportive shoes, they are not too heavy! The materials are durable, and it has a nice spring in its step for lots of city walking. I also love that they can slip on despite the adorable buckle.
I will say that the red in the catalog is not nearly as bright as the shoe is in real life, so buyer be aware. I am planning to buy these in black as well.
