More expensive than Sketchers or other brands, but well worth the difference in costs. Very comfortable, fit well; however, the length does seem to run about a Ż size long.

....of Keen Arroyos...Well made and durable...The arch is just perfect for me ie not flat and not too severe...I wear them summer sans socks and with socks all but the very coldest days in the winter...Another plus is they come in half sizes...I usually wear a 12 but the 11.5 is perfect...One downside is that the laces provided tend to slip a bit with stress on them...To counter I have at times put a bit of resin on...I have also put in different laces ie ones with stretch that have been send to me when I called Keene..
I have Keene hiking low and high tops and really would not consider another brand....

This is my second pair of these shoes. I wore out the first. These are even more comfortable than the first pair.

Rated 5 out of 5áby Mervich Keen Arroyo II Hikers
Of the four pair of Keens I have, these are, by far, my favorites. All of my Keens are exceedingly comfortable, durable, look good and fit well. But these are better than the rest! The Arroyo fits and looks like a shoe but is breezy like a sandal. The contoured, thickly cushioned, fabric covered insole is like that of a shoe. The capture system on the Arroyo is similar to the bungee system on other Keen offerings, except this one uses a lace in place of the bungee cord. Keen advises that one should order Ż size smaller than your regular size for proper fit in this particular hiker. The Arroyo is all day comfortable, right out of the box. In summary: an extraordinary shoe!
