Rated 5 out of 5 by NYAlan Excellent, but runs large
Excellent belt, excellent quality, but it does run large. I am wearing it now and think it's terrific!

The belt looks and fits great. However, I'm underwhelmed at the quality of both the leather and the buckle. It's not a bad belt...I was just expecting better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TonyRich 1912 Jean Belt
I purchased this belt about 12 months ago and I am extremely satisfied with the product. It fit just as the ad said it would -- same size as my jeans -- and looked great. In fact I wear it occasionally with my casual chinos as I prefer a wider belt. This is the best jean belt I have ever owned. If it wears out before I die I will buy another.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ShowMeTheBean Great leather with a cheap buckle
The belt has very nice leather and holds its finish well. The buckle feels cheaper than most belts I own- even ones with mediocre leather. A heavier buckle would make this belt truly outstanding.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Tejoo Nice belt
This was my first purchase at LLB and I am completely satisfied. I wear 32 size jeans but my actual waist size measured with a loose tape is 34. Therefore, I ordered 34 inches and it is perfect fit with enough room both ways. I read some previous reviews about poor quality of buckle but the belt I received had a study brass buckle. The belt is supple and thick and nice leather perfect for jeans. The only thing I noticed was that it had inscribed on it "genuine leather" whereas the description stated it was made of full grain leather. My understanding is that genuine leather is inferior to full grain leather. Besides this, the belt is great and appears to last long. I am keeping it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BillH49 A nice belt, but the buckle isn't brass
Overall, this is a nice jeans belt. Unfortunately, the buckle is not brass as advertised. The tang is thin steel and may be prone to bending over time. The buckle is some sort of cast non-ferrous metal, but it isn't brass. It has a thin antiqued brass colored finish.
I was disappointed but will keep the belt.

Rated 2 out of 5 by MikeYLLBeanShopper Runs long, buckle poorly designed
The leather appears to be of decent quality, but the buckle is poorly designed. Belt also runs about 1" longer than standard.
A few years ago, Bean's offered an English made belt from Vendor 18051 Product ID 0WW60, which was well made. Unfortunately, this belt is no longer available. Would like to see Bean's offer this product, again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Elbill Inferior Buckle Dooms Belt
Great piece of leather with an belt buckle you would find on a $ 5.00 belt. I am returning the belt because the prong is so thin and soft that it clearly is going break or bend off. I read another persons comment and should have paid attention. The belt is unusable for me and although the leather is superior ,the buckle is poor- consequently a poor rating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ejras It's perfect!
It's difficult to find a simple, high quality leather belt. This one is right on the mark. A classic style; its rugged good looks do not rely on fancy stitching or silly embellishments. Thank-you LL Bean for sticking to a style that works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AnAtlantaGuy A Jean's Belt
This is definitely a Jean's belt rather than a dress belt. It's well-made and I expect it will last forever. It's one solid piece of leather and is wider than a dress belt but it fits jeans perfectly.
