These Darn Tough Socks are awesome. They keep my feet sweat-free and feels like it isn't even there. The special stitching they use by your toesies keeps em pretty comfortable throughout the day. Not sure how well these will fare in the winter, but we'll see.

Rated 5 out of 5 by WGBob comfortable; great fit socks
Darn Tuff socks are an excellent product that can improve your hiking & walking experiences. Like Goldy Locks trying out the 3 bears sizes, it is important to select the correct size and sock weight for the activity used. It took 3 tries for me to find the exact fit & weight that improved my foot/boot fitting.
These socks are perfect for my needs. I will be purchasing another pair which will last me for years to come (hopefully!)

So far, so good. Have worn them on 3 occasions. They wash well and are very comfortable. I tend to go through socks very quickly so I hope they will stand up to their advertised claim. I will let you know.

These socks are amazing! This may sound funny but I have a general sock rotation especially in the winter. I love wearing wool socks and most of them are LL Bean socks that have lasted. One pair is over 7 years old and still has plenty of life left in them. This pair is my new favorite because they're not bulky, extremely comfortable & warm. Being my new favorite- as soon as these are out of the dryer, I wear them the next day no matter what pants I'm wearing. I will be buying more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DJMJ Lightweight but extremely warm
I usually purchase merino wool socks for the winter but the one issue have with them is the durability. However, these "darn tough" socks have the warmth, dryness and a lifetime warranty. The winters in New Jersey are not the harshest but it can be very cold from January to April. It's early January and these are holding up. These socks are little expensive but they are advertised: warm, comfortable and the backing of a warranty. I trust warranties, especially LL Bean no questions ask....they honor all returns. Therefore, I am a lifelong customer.

I do not own junk socks, period. I've been an adherent to SmartWool PHD and the L.L.Bean Cresta Hikers for years, but found these in the store this year and decided to give them a whirl. I LOVE these socks - they have found themselves in my weekly rotation, and the only reason I don't have more in my collection is because L.L.Bean only sells good socks that don't wear out and I don't have room in my sock drawer! The forecast calls for more Darn Tough when time allows.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LEOcustomer my favorite pair of socks
These socks are somehow equally comfortable in my hiking boots whether the temperature outside is 20 degrees, or 80 degrees. I took them on a camping trip over the summer and wore them for 3 days around the campsite before I felt like I should break out a different pair. My only complaint is that the "micro-crew" height falls a couple inches lower than typical crew socks. It just leaves my calf feeling a bit bare under my pant legs because I'm so used to a typical crew height. To end on a positive, made in the USA.

Rated 5 out of 5 by nland22 Nice socks!!
I've only worn these socks 2 times, but these socks feel amazing. I'm one of those people who would wear a brand new pair of socks every single day if I could. Granted, I've only wore them twice, but they felt wonderful both times. These socks are absurdly expensive, but I purchased them feeling comfortable about it because of their lifetime warranty on them. As stated by Darn Tough 'If you can wear them out, send em back." For me, that's awfully comforting, so I decided to go with the sock, and I couldn't be more happy with them. We'll see how they hold up over the long haul though, and if need be, I can send them back!
