A bad shoe at any price. Front of the shoe is coming away from the rubber bottom, the leather straps on the side are broken in two spots, and there are gaps where the material on the top is stitched. My wife wore these shoes for three months and they are now garbage.

I ordered the Northport boat shoe in the briar and the metallic. The leather is very soft and I do like the shoe and colors. However, I wear a 7N, so I ordered the 7M, and they fit like a sock rather than a shoe. NO extra room in them for even the thinnest sock, and they were short. I returned both pair and ordered the 7 1/2M and they fit fine with a thin sock. the shoes are comfortable. I would have given them 5 stars if they did not run VERY narrow and short, and if they had some sort of arch. I took both pair to the shoe shop and had arches put in them, so now they are more comfortable. Depending on your size you may have to order up 1 to 2 sizes to get the correct fit.

I wear an 8 1/2 M, that's what I ordered, and they fit perfectly. I never have that happen with shoes. I even have a bunion, the shoes don't hurt, the leather is soft, the soles are cushy, I am even wearing them... barefoot, something I never do. I can't get over them!

As other reviewers mention, this shoe certainly does run narrow, so I wasn't surprised to find they fit that way. My feet are slightly narrow, but the shoe is not uncomfortable. That being said, they're incredibly soft, well made, and the metallic sable color adds just a little glam without taking away from the rest of your outfit. I'm very glad I got these and would recommend them.

I usually wear a size 10 Narrow, but I bought a 9.5 Narrow, which is just right. The width and length are perfect for my hard to fit feet. However, there is no support in these shoes, making them uncomfortable for walking any distance or standing for any length of time. I added Dr Scholl's inserts which have made a huge difference. The color, briar, is a rusty mud brown. I would have preferred a darker brown but I can live with this. The leather is soft, and nice, and with my new inserts are very comfortable. Considering the price, these shoes are a good value on sale.

Great shoes. Soft and premium grade leather. Comfortable from day one. I bought my regular size and would highly recommend.

I ordered these in sable metallic because I didn't want to spend more before checking out the shoe. I don't care for the color, but the price was right. They fit because I ordered a size up. I found the toe particularly narrow. They also provide little if any cushioning so if you're looking for that, look elsewhere. I won't order any more of them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by KarrenJ Cute and comfy shoe, very narrow
I ordered this shoe, because of the low price and the reviews that it fit narrow. My foot runs narrow and I often put up with medium width shoes that are a little too wide for me. I sized up a 1/2 size from my usual and went with the medium. They fit great. There is nice "give" to the leather.

Cute shoes that flatter the foot, more than in the photo. Leather is soft and gradually stretches and conforms to feet after walking around the house a few hours. Very attractive, with the Soft Metallic and the Multi giving a bit extra flair.
NOTE, the feeling of the shoe is tight when you put it on, but that is not the final feeling. Look for card inside box that explains the materials are something or other.
The gist is that this type of leather and manufacture process require a short break-in period. Once that's done, the shoes are soft and flexible. To me, they did not seem narrow, but comfortably snug, and I have average feet.
My missing star is only a small thing, but an annoyance. I cannot keep real leather shoe laces laced. No matter what knot or method I use, leather laces will not stay tied. Since these shoes sell, I guess I have a deficiency in this regard.
Perhaps another card should go in the box on how to tie the laces. What I'll do is purchase regular cotton shoelaces and insert them in place of the leather in the holes just on top.

I purchased these in the metallic color and think they are wonderful! I was a little apprehensive about purchasing these when I read the reviews that they were narrow but bought my usual 7 1/2 anyway. They were a touch snug out of the box but within a couple hours of wear they are prefect. The card that comes in the box explains that they will form to your feet and they did.
I have my new go-to shoe for summer and may order another pair as a back up.
