I basically live in the adult version of the Double L Polo, wearing it whenever its 60 degrees or warmer and I'm not at work. The kids' version is the same durable, comfortable, sharp-looking quality. My son thinks they're great and I find them easy to care for. I remove them from the dryer within an hour of it stopping and have no need to iron the shirts. They have not shrunk on me, but I do the laundry on cold.
I would like to see more versions with stripes for kids.

I recently bought three of these for my son (kelly green, fire, and medium blue). They were true to size. The fabric felt and looked the same weight as the adult version. A previous review had issues with wrinkling, but when I removed these from the dryer, they were fine. Not perfect, but certainly no need to iron unless you have a very formal school dress code. My son is happy and so am I! I would definitely repurchase if he wanted more.

LL Bean has to improve this product. I am returning this item, as soon as I iron it. Comes out of the dryer a wrinkled mess and it has shrunk so badly, it looks to be half its size.

I was surprised to find that these shirts come out of the dryer a wrinkled mess. Before my 8th grader can wear them to school, they must be IRONED. In years past, every polo shirt could go straight from the dryer to a hangar and be ready to wear.
