Rated 3 out of 5 by GIndy One person lightweight tent
This tent is a great color, super light, and relatively easy to set up. A normal size person could not sit up in it; it is good for one person, lying down with a small pack. It is longer than other backpacking tents, so a medium height guy might fit better sleeping in it than other choices. At a stretch to call this a two person tent, a thin, small person with a small child, and no packs, might have decent sleeping room. Or if two people slept in one, one-person sleeping bag. The foyer could be used for shoes. One downside that affects the interior space is that the tent sides lean in even when properly set up. I would keep it if it fit two average size people and two medium size packs.

by LongTrailMike Awesome lite weight tent
I have had one for about 5 years and it's been great. Bought it for several week hike on the Long Trail in VT. Even did a week sharing it with another person - no problems (we aren't big people). Small size and weight make it as easy to carry as a hammock & bug screen & tarp. Set up is fast/easy. Room for boots in the vestibule and if you are alone room for stuff inside. Can even be set up without the fly in a shelter to keep the bugs off. Small enough to keep it in the car- just in case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kisa perfect backpacking tent
This tent is very popular in the long-distance hiking community. I've hiked for hundreds of miles with this tent and I can't say enough good things about it. This very lightweight yet functional 2P tent is the perfect size for one person plus gear. Setup is so easy I can pitch in less than three minutes in complete dark. It's super easy to get a taut pitch, and easy to clip the fly onto the tent body even with gloves. I love the unobtrusive tan color fly which blends into the woods and/or desert and, as a solo female backpacker, helps with stealth camping. I love the ratio of fabric and mesh in the body of the tent which literally eliminates condensation and also offers sleeping privacy even without the fly. Three handy pockets help with organization: two on the front sides and one directly above that can hold a headlamp for perfect lighting. I've weathered some serious storms in this tent and not a drop of rain has ever found its way inside. During one night of stupidity and sheer exhaustion during a gale wind storm on the Texas plains in Big Bend Nat'l Park, I managed to scour a few holes into the tent floor. My own fault. But Big Agnes took my tent and repaired it for free! They stand behind their products no matter what. Because of its lightweight nature, this tent does need some extra TLC which is typical for lightweight camping gear. For instance I would not carry this tent on the outside of my pack and I wouldn't pitch it on granite. I actually did not like the footprint that's made for this tent and finally went with my own lighter version using a piece of Tyvek. But otherwise this tent is as close as it gets to perfect, and I expect to use it for years to come.

Love this tent! Plenty of room inside for you and your gear if you're a sprawler like me. It took me five minutes to set up and what sold me is how light it is. I have plans to hike the AT and I'm excited that my tent doesn't way a ton. Also, I stayed out while it rained and packing it up the next day while it was wet did NOT add a ton of weight, easy drying material. Amazing!
