There are things I love about these poles:
The cork grips are non-slip and feel less cold for cold weather activities. The angled grips are definitely more comfortable and the position more functional than the ones on standard poles. I also like that the baskets screw into place--you're less likely to lose one. Also, the snow baskets can be added beneath the regular trekking basket--you don't have to remove one to use the other like on other poles. Also, I am a fan of flip lock length adjustments instead of twist adjustments. ( It's hard to get a good grip to make twist adjustments when your hands are cold, or, worse yet, in snow-covered mittens.)
Here are the two things I'd change if I could:
1) The wrist straps should be adjustable. They are fine for trekking (without gloves) but you cannot fit your hand through the straps if you have on insulated winter gloves or mittens.
2) It would be better if the collapsed length were shorter. It's fine if you only collapse them to throw into the car trunk, put if you do winter outings and need to stow them on your pack, they are a bit long compared to other brands.
