Rated 5 out of 5 by iShop2Buy The almost perfect bag
I love this bag!
****Pockets for everything
****Bottom seam protection near wheels
****Large 15.6" laptop fits in the front pocket with room for my iPad.
****I can even put a second computer in a neoprene sleeve and fit it in the back of the main compartment for long business trips when I want both my home and work laptops.
****My compact golf umbrella will slip into a corner of the back compartment.
****A handle with two rods. I can perch my large lunch box on top looping around the handle and it doesn't spin around.
****Fleece lined pockets for sunglasses and PDA/cellphone(s). There are two.
****Magazines fit without being folded in the front pocket.
****It's narrow enough to roll down the aisle of the airplane.
****It has a TSA lock loop on the zipper to the main compartment if you are forced to gate check the bag on a regional flight that bans all rolling bags in the passenger compartment.
Cons(or things I would improve to make it perfect to me):
****The net used to contain the main compartment does not come out. A full zip around would make this perfect but it does lay down in the bottom of the bag.
****The liquid pocket is plastic/silicone lined. Eventually this will crack so a waterproof duck cloth might have been better.
****2 wheels instead of four. I would have loved for this bag to be a spinner but chose it over other bags that were. The spinner bags were returned.
****No bottle pocket. Call me crazy but I like a pocket on the side that will fit my umbrella or my bottle of water. The pocket might hold a pocket umbrella but not my compact golf one I use to cover me and my rolling bag when using it to cart stuff to and from subway. A mesh one would be perfect since it allows the umbrella to drip outside the bag.
****The liner compression straps hook to the back of the case with velcro so with a little pulling force (pulled straps out about an inch) they separated from the back. Maybe that will change if I have something pushing against the back while I am pulling them forward. I had to feel with my fingers to push the fabric/hooks to the connect to the loop side of the velcro behind the fabric liner.
Other than those five things the bag is perfect. No other bag had the features this one has and still fits under the airline seat. So I would recommend to friends and family. I'm thinking of giving my mom one for a gift. :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by JohnTX Very functional bag
Only complaint is the top of the bag isn't flat, meaning if you want to lean something against telescoping handle, it's hard to secure. Otherwise, it's great. I used to use the slightly-cheaper version, but this once has so many more pockets and pouches, which is great for laptops and iPads. It also looks a bit less formal, which I like, so you can use for a business trip or casual weekend and not feel weird in either situation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Alicia Nice bag
This is a nice bag with a strap on the back to hold it onto another bag. However, when full, it is 11 inches not the 9 inches that is stated in the description. Given that the airlines only allow a max of 9 inches, I returned it. I bought this bag as an under the seat carry on. I suspect it would fit in the overhead, but seriously doubt it would fit under any seat. Otherwise, It was lots of compartments and is a really nice bag.

Rated 4 out of 5 by RidersDad Great Bag, BUT, Will Not Fit
This bag is nicely made, has great access and very useful design. However, it is misleading to call it an under the seat bag - it will not fit under many airline seats. And, for those aircraft where it does fit, you will be left almost no leg and foot room. I'll keep the bag but not plan on putting under a seat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by furby Light weight and roomy main compartment.
Cons: Doesn't fit under MOST airplane seats! Pretty disappointed about that. The handle doesn't seem to lock well and am not sure how it will hold up. Compression straps would be nice to snug it up.
Pros: Laptop/tablet holder is handy at security check points. There's plenty of room to carry clothing, sandals, acrylic wine glass, and a 3 ring binder in the separated compartment. Plenty of room for wires for my electronic needs and personal items as well. The side grab handle is a nice feature. Quick Load Pack (My favorite# fits nicely on top when not in use. Over all I would rate this pack a 4. # Would have given a 5 if it actually fit under the seat.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by Caster Well-made bag but underseat...?
I ordered this bag to use when I travel by plane. I hoped to relieve my
poor shoulder/back from the day pack burden of carrying all the stuff I travel with these days that needs to be in my sight. Well, it is a handsome bag of good design and very good quality. It did not, however, fit under the seat in front of me on the 4 flights I recently took. It did fit easily in the overhead compartment that thankfully still had available spots when I boarded. It is a structured bag, so you can't put "less stuff" in it and scrunch it down to make it take up less space like you can do with a day pack. I like it well enough to keep it, but be aware of its limitations.

Rated 1 out of 5 by DecadesLLshopper Nice size but needs enhancements...
I seek a robust compact rolling carryon bag, but this isn't it and neither was the LL Sportsman Underseat one (see similar review on that). This one stands "3 legged" meaning uneven, and the bottom piece the legs attach to gives too much = tippy when handle is hung with another bag(s). Bottom piece needs to be firm, and legs moved toward corners (too centered now adds to the tippiness). The handle is reasonably solid for one that must extend as far as this one must, but if pushed vs pulled the handle collapsed -- it needs to click in more solidly. For now I will have to use LL's prior model medium Excursion as our carryon; perhaps Bean will make a compact Excursion model that will work better.

This Commuter underseat bag has a side zippered pocket, I assumed, it was for a water bottle. (other brands have same side pockets with a picture of a water bottle)
I tried to place a bottle in there but it's a tight fit. Not good for my purpose. Laptop size not specified either

I really liked the way this bag was organized and it was very well made. It contained a padded area for a tablet or small computer and you could get a light change of clothes into it too. I needed a rolling carry on for an upcoming trip that did not have a hard frame around it. This has a hard frame for about 3/4 of the way around with the top part being able to crush in. If it had not had the hard frame around so much of it I would have kept it. It was a very good size and might fit under the seat on the larger planes so you could have all the items you wanted access to right at your seat.

I just love the organization and quality of this bag. It rolls like a dream and the dimensions are engineered to where it rolls down the narrow aisles on planes. I've tried spinners but they rarely roll straight; this bag goes exactly where it is directed, pushing or pulling! The padding in the inside pockets is wonderful for expensive electronics and eye wear. I travel a lot and have long been searching for the perfect computer bag that will roll down the aisle, fits under the seat and hold books and personal items as well. I am very particular and I can't find any fault with this bag! I recommend it highly for business travelers like myself who want a good looking bag that functions well with ease. Way to go, Bean!
