I go clamming with them almost every weekend, even in the winter, their light weight and keep my feet warm. I would recommend them for any type of low water activities. the only issue I have is the belt lope tie downs are made of an elastic type material that loses it memory after several outings. my suggestion would be to maybe made that material out of rubber with a button hole to attach them at different lengths
Thanks LL Bean, you will always be my outdoor supplier of choice.

Nice and light but not flimsy like other breathable or vinyl ones out there . Had all rubber ones to heavy and hot. Found fit true to shoe size.

Recieved my hipwadders and immediately inspected them and then tried them on. I have a 29" inseam and the waders are 33.5" in length, of course about 2" of that give or take is sole and heel. The length fit perfectly as did the boot itself, I wear a 9.5 and so I ordered a 10 which is good because it gives one that extra room for insoles and heavy or wool socks to keep ones feet warm during the winter season or in chilly mountain waters, in which I do most of my trout fishing. These waders are very well made and if there is one thing that I would have liked is that it were felt soles, being that rocks in mountain streams are oftentimes algae coated and very slippery and the felt helps to lessen the chance of a nasty fall. Top leg circumfrence could be a little bit smaller, 28" is quite large even though cinched up for a baggy fit. Other than those two minor issues, the hipwadders are very well made, easy to move around in and comfortable. Well done LL Bean and thanks.

Love everything about them. Just wish they would be a little longer. My inseam is 36". They are about 2 to 3" short for me. Fix that and they are perfect!!!
