Rated 5 out of 5 by ActiveMom43 What a great fit!
I have never written a review before, but I love this shirt so much I needed to! It fits perfectly - the sleeves are not too short - I like the longer length, and it fits well through the shoulders and waist. I'm 5-7", 165, so not thin, and an L fits well. I hope more colors are available soon!

Rated 4 out of 5 by EricaCA Athletic Shirt Comparison
This shirt is one of three in this review. I?m writing out my observations on the 3 active wear shirts I ordered, since a side by side comparison may be helpful for some. The folks at customer service were very nice to me, so I wanted to take the time to write out a thorough review hoping this could help someone else choose the right workout shirt for them. I?m 5?8.5?, currently 160lbs, & working on being more athletic and have some softness around the arms, tummy and torso I?d like to lose. I?ve always thought my shoulders are wide- the widest point they are 17?. I also have a long torso.
Trail Tee (Medium): The material is 96% Poly/4% Spandex. It feels soft almost like a cotton blend, medium weight, and has stretch. It?s the most comfortable material in my opinion, since I like the feel of natural fibers, but want the performance of synthetic. The sleeves are short and like a cap-sleeve. They also feel a little tight around my arms and shoulders as I have wide shoulders, but since I line-dry all items of this type of material when doing laundry, I think it will loosen up a bit over time. The fit is ?Slightly Fitted? so it?s a flattering cut around the middle and not too tight. The neckline is good for me, just below the clavicles so it?s modest and feminine. The ruching up top and the curved cuts of the panels make this shirt the most ?feminine? of the cuts. The length on me wearing it ends up at 25?, so I?d say about mid-pelvis. I could use a little more length but that?s just my personal preference as I like a little more coverage when I wear Spandex pants at the gym.
BeanSport Crewneck Tee (Medium): Material is 100% Poly. It feels quite synthetic, a thin medium weight fabric, almost no stretch or give. Sleeves are a little longer than the Trail Tee above. It feels just right in my shoulders and arms. The neckline is higher the Trail Tee, and shows the center of the clavicles only, which is fine by me as I like to limit sun exposure on my chest. Cut is less ?girly? than the Trail Tee but it?s still streamlined and flattering, not tight around the middle. This fit is also ?Slightly Fitted?. The cut of the pattern is athletic with the seams and side panels, and is slightly shorter than the Trail Tee in terms of where it falls on my hips worn. Perhaps this is due to the stiffness of the material.
Fitness Tee (Medium): Material is 94%Poly/6% Elastaine. It?s softer than the Crewneck Tee above, but feels almost like Spandex with a lot of give, and is also a thin material. This is a slight issue with me, because no matter how athletic and thin I?ve been in the past, I don?t like clingy clothing that shows the outline of my bellybutton if I?m wearing it as a shirt. With that said, this would be great for a light-weight base layer since it?s as thin as an undershirt IMO. The sleeves are the longest and the neckline is the highest of all 3 shirts. The cut is ?Fitted? so it?s snug, which is why it would make an appropriate base layer tee. The length is the longest of all, and sits at 26? on me worn. I like the extra coverage, so I got one in a size large as well to see if it would work.
The large is cut quite large. Surprise, I know. I just didn?t expect it to be cut that much larger than the medium. There was a good 2? on each side that I could pinch off in extra fabric. The shoulders were wide and loose. The difference in sizing was surprising. Medium was as snug as a rash guard, the large fit like a pillowcase- boxy.
In the end I think there are occasions and personal preferences that would call for each of these, so I hope this helps.

I bought this T a few months ago for treadmill (sweaty) workouts. Now I'm back to buy another one. It is extremely comfortable and dries amazingly fast - by the time I walk from the treadmill to the gym, it's dry. I recommend it!

This top would have been fine but fits way too snugly. I usually get a medium in LLB tops although some exercise tops need to be a large...and this turns out to be is one of the latter. It runs a full size smaller than the other LLB t shirt type tops. The cobalt color was nice, but M was as big as it got so I'm out of luck.

By cool, I mean, not only cute BUT is comfortable and COOL in hot weather due to whatever trade secrets in the fabric and the mesh panels (which are cleverly disguised and don't look like mesh). I ordered an XL (5'10 inches tall, 150 lbs) because I want to wear these shirts to exercise and want them loose and not fitted. Played basketball in the one I ordered and stayed cool! Next day, used another similar shirt (not LL Bean) and it was so hot that today, I am ordering three more for our TN summers. This shirt is a winner. You could easily wear this as a top with jeans and it would be plenty cute! Great for serious exercise, too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by luna1 Nice fit, soft fabric
I like the amount of coverage, a little more through the sleeve for cooler days but not overkill. Slightly fitted, flattering. Material is soft and smooth, unlike some of their other fitness shirts. Make more clothes with this fabric!

Rated 4 out of 5 by CarolCola No tugging on too short Tee tops
I have two of these tops I bought for yoga. They stay tucked in without riding up or needing adjustment halfway through class. The colors look good with black yoga pants. I like the neckline, not so high as to get a choking sensation, not too low to get boobs hanging our. Fit is snug but not binding. Wash up well & so far have managed a trip through the dryer on high ( not on purpose, though). Sleeves are just right. I like the flat fell seams as I tend to get skin irritation from over-sewn seams. I have one in my regular size & one a size larger & I can't tell much difference. My only small quibble is I don't find them as good at wicking away perspiration as one might expect.

Love the neck and love the sleeves. I think the neck is perfect for my needs. For some of us a higher neck is not only more flattering, but is more practical. It is warmer when layered underneath for hiking on cool mornings and offers better sun protection. Plus no b**by gap, when you bend over. Along with other reviewers I like the nice regular length sleeve. I won't buy any tops with those teeny tiny excuse for sleeves cap things.
The color, dark fuchsia is true to what was shown, the fabric feels good, and the print detail is a nice touch. The top washed well, delicate cycle, warm water, and tumbled medium heat.
After reading the other reviewers noting the slim fit, and because I like to have plenty of ease in the shoulder I ordered a medium. I am 5'5" 124 lbs, 34 B-C bra. Across the shoulder fits well. Although I am not pear shaped, it is a bit snugger than I like in the stomach/hips. As others have noted the top is a bit clingy. When worn with pants that have any more details than found on yoga pants, the pant seams show through the top. It would be nice to have just a bit more ease across the hips, or perhaps this top could be offered in a different fit. The top is just a bit too long but I am fine with that. Perhaps if in my regular size small it would have been just right. Better a little long than too short.
I am giving this 4 stars. If there was more ease in the lower part I would give it 5.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NorthDog Great hiking shirt
I love this shirt! It has real sleeves! I'm not a fan of capped sleeves. If I want sleeves, I want sleeves! While it's slighted fitted, it's not tight. Great wicking material. By far, my favorite outdoor activity shirt. I bought two of them last year and am ordering another two.

Rated 5 out of 5 by lovenature nice, soft shirt
I like the fit and feel of this shirt for hiking. The material is the softest technical material that I have ever come across. It does run tight so size up if you like shirts looser. I do wish llbean made this shirt in brighter colors and in a slight v neck, which is more feminine. I have the bold orchid and it is pretty but I would have liked it to be more vibrant and less muted. The color is definitely not as bright as the picture.
