Rated 5 out of 5 by Abbeyroad Fitness Tee, Short -sleeve
I like this shirt and I am glad that I ordered up to a medium from my usual small size. This shirt is very fitted so I wanted a looser fit for the gym. The neckline is very comfortable and I love the feel of the fabric. Personally I like the longer length because it doesn't ride up during a gym workout.

Some of the reviewers mentioned that these tees were too long for them. That's what I love about them. I use these tees for my gym workouts. I don't have to worry about exposing my belly when I'm doing squat jumps, tricep extensions, or any exercise my trainer has come up with so far. I'm 53, with glow-in-the-dark-white skin, so I like keeping my belly to myself :-)
These tees are very comfortable and do not interfere with my range of motion while working out. I LOVE them!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sunfishgirl Terrific workout shirt
This workout shirt provides ample coverage, both at top and rear for a comfortable gym workout. Fits wonderfully and truly makes my time at the gym productive and worry-free. The v-neck-type shirts are too peek-a-boo for me, when I lean forward, etc. You won't be disappointed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by 8everly Scratchy seams
I am normally an XS is LL Bean tops but sized up to an S based on the tighter fit of this top. I'm 5'4", 34Ax29x39. The fit of the S was good, fitted but loose, but I wish I had sized up to an M for an even roomier fit because I'm pear shaped and the fit at the hips was a bit snug. I ordered the Citron which was a nice, bright chartreuse color.
In general, this is an okay top but two things I don't like are the weight of the fabric and the seams. I don't find this shirt comfortable for active use.
I wore this to a martial arts class and the synthetic material and medium weight of the fabric had me feeling hotter and sweatier than when I wear cotton/cotton-blend shirts. The shirt has side panels that are a different knit and have micro-perforations (which is really hard to see even if zoomed in on the bright yellow top shown with the model) but I did not feel as though the top has good enough ventilation.
But the thing I disliked the most was the scratchy seams. There are multiple panels used in the construction of this shirt and they are pieced together with an overlocked stitch, which makes the seams lie flat. But because a heavy weight, synthetic thread was used the seams feel rough, scratchy & uncomfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Consumeritis Great Looking & Comfortable Fitness Top!
I adore this top so much that I have at least 5 of them. I'm quite surprised at the silky, velvety finish of this top. I love how it skims over my slightly athletic & slightly curvy size M body without being snug or tight. LLBean's fitted tops tend to look good on me and this is one of them..Wore it a few times for my group fitness classes & found that it wicks moisture really well. as I am the type who sweats profusely. (I work out 5-7 times a week). This is such a great top that I am willing to pay the extra duties and taxes to have it shipped to Vancouver, Canada. This top is as good as the other popular name brand that is based in Vancouver, Canada. I will be ordering a few more since some of the colors are on sale. I highly recommend them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by JustSomeLady A t-shirt that won't show your midriff!
I'm 5'5 (and 130 lbs), with a relatively long torso, and I've had trouble with other t-shirts showing some skin when I raise my arms. I ordered an XS (I've found llbean sizing to run large, and this was no exception), and while that fit well, I imagine a S would also have worked if I wanted it to fit loosely. This shirt is just the right length. It ends just above the roundest part of my butt (so it's long, but not ridiculously so). The material is clingy, so it may not be flattering on someone who isn't comfortable with the shape of her stomach.

Rated 2 out of 5 by JWGC way too long
This shirt was at least 4" too long on my 5'3" frame. When shirts are looser, one has a bit more leeway in terms of length - but for these fitted shirts, too much length looks bizarre and won't stay in place when exercising anyway. Had to return this. Too bad - I needed workout shirts and loved the color.

Rated 4 out of 5 by GailJ Nice and long
I ordered several of the workout tees and this was the best. I was tired of my other shirts that were too short. I'm 5'8/145 pounds, technically a size small but I ordered the medium, in three colors ultimately, and love them. They cover half my butt but you can pull them up so they're not so long. I just ordered the long-sleeved version, too, and it's just as good.

This shirt is made from a wonderful material that helps you stay cool at the gym. Unfortunately, the neckline is too high and rides-up my chest, chaffing my neck during exercise. If you're know what I'm talking about, you understand how annoying this is. I wish the shirt had a lower neckline. I'd buy ten! Hint, hint, L.L. Bean!

This shirt fits nicely. Not too snug & it is a bright shade of white . Some t shirts are off white & I prefer a bright white. Washes nicely & wicks perspiration.
