I loved everything about this shirt except that it was see-through, which defeated the purpose of being able to wear it in hot weather.
I got the XS Blue Wave - pretty vibrant blue, orange, and yellow design. The shape was good, came in at the waist, so not boxy. I loved the cute collar and sleeves. But I wanted to be able to wear this in hot, humid DC summers and I can't because it's see-through.
Tried it with nude, pink, and white bras. I could see all of them. If I have to wear a tank or camisole underneath, it's not a summer shirt. Too bad. For me, it's not worth it if I always have to wear something over or under it. Too bad, it's really cute.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BusyIsBetter Light and airy, generous cut
I am stuck between rating this shirt as 4 stars and 5 stars. About me: 5'6", 155#, 36D. About the shirt:
- The fabric is lightweight and hangs well.
- The colors are much prettier in person than I'd anticipated #that's you, Mallard Blue#.
- Cute puckers at the shoulders.
- Back to the fabric, it's flowy and I feel I can move well in it.
- It's hard to imagine now in February but when it's hot out I'll be happy to have such a light, comfy shirt.
- It's ROOMY. I wear a size M in LLBean tops and I'm tempted to size down to a Small! I'm keeping this M so I don't lose the fluidity of the shirt #an S might be too small#, but it is cut wide and long.
- The sleeves are surprisingly big. I can fit my whole fist between my arm and the sleeve fabric. Again this makes for nice range of motion, but it's important to note that it's an almost too generous cut in the sleeves.
Take what helps ya', but I can say I'd recommend this to a friend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by yorktownbean Love these shirts for year round!
I ordered these shirts last year and although they didn't fit as well, I still used them as a lightweight blouse for under my sweaters. I just received two more of these on sale to wear under sweaters ( I hate bulky layered clothing) and they fit better than last year's version! The shirts are a bit long for me ( hence, 4 stars) as I usually wear a petite but, these seem to be a bit more boxy which is what I like and need and I love these! I'm so glad that I ordered them. Although I'll be wearing these under sweaters, I can actually wear these alone since they fit better around my tummy and hips despite the length. I hope Bean brings these back next year in different colors ( in the boxier style) as I will be first in line to purchase them for summer. They are perfect shirts for hot weather and you can't see through them despite their voile texture.
I normally wear an XL in shirts and that is what I ordered and they fit great, a bit loose which is what I prefer. I got the dark blue and the coral plaid shirts and both are gorgeous. The coral will be great for fall.

Rated 2 out of 5 by QueenOScots Thin material and strange sizing
I fully regret keeping this shirt. First of all, its see-through so you have to wear an underlayer with it so in the end its not that breathable. Secondly, the cut of the shirt was for busty individuals so it does not look slightly fitted on me. There was a good 2+ inches extra in width. Lastly, the shirt shrunk in the wash making a shirt that was borderline short... clearly too short. I'm 145 lbs and height 5'9" with an A bust size. The large was huge in width.... the medium was still to large in width... and neither were the correct length.

Rated 5 out of 5 by VintagePetunia Best Summer Shirt EVER!!!!
This is my all time favorite summer shirt! The fabric isn't cheap...
it's VOILE people! If I could only take one shirt with me while traveling...this would it! It's classic, lightweight, takes almost no room in luggage, washes easily in a sink ( or lake!) ...dries quickly on the line- keeps its shape. It's great layered over a tank top for the beach or under a sweater, at night. I just ordered a second one in a new color plaid for next summer- for fear they'll stop carrying this shirt! ( Plus my family may be sick of seeing me in the one I lived in this past summer! ;-) Worth every penny!

Rated 1 out of 5 by chameli very cheap material
I am sorry to be so critical but in my 20 years of shopping with LLB I have not seen such poor material or craftmanship. The material did not look or feel like cotton but some cheap rayon-y stuff. I got the navy plaid and even without taking it out of the bag I knew it was not worth the price (I bought it full price). It was also very poorly made and had some white stains in front that looked like glue. Needless to say it went back.

Rated 2 out of 5 by LindaVT Material too thin
The fabric choices were lovely, but the shirt does not hold its shape esp. around the collar. I thought it was to pricey for the quality of the material.

Rated 4 out of 5 by hkjudy Cool, comfy & looks great
I really like this shirt. Just received it so no experience with washing but it's a great style and just the perfect weight for summer. It's a keeper! I've rated it only 4 stars because the price seems high for the amount and weight of material.

Rated 2 out of 5 by alkm plaid not matched, just for starters
This is a review of the plaid Beech Hill shirt. I was very disappointed when I received it today. For one thing, at this price I expect the plaid to be matched at the sides, but the bars were 100% offset, dark to light and light to dark. Though the colors are pretty, the fabric felt very thin and sleazy. The cut was baggy and unflattering, and the shirt was much too long for a good fit on my 5'5" frame. All in all, quite a disappointment, and back it goes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chicstyleplus "In Hot Demand"
This blouse has been very hard to purchase as it has gone from being sold out to being restocked. One has to be lucky enough to see when it is available and pounce!!! I so wanted the pink purple and finally had my way but was forced to select a size medium when a small was my size...I have never seen an item sell as fast as this one and then when restocked evaporate so quickly. I found the buttons a larger size than most buttons and as I am always in a dash they are so easy to fasten compared with too small a button size. The fabric is thin but perfect for summer and well made too...a sweet, flowery light-weight blouse with colour and life to it...I am petite and have a bust line but the small is fine and in a pinch the medium most likely comfortable and roomier.
A darling blouse to reach for with a spring/summer look.
