I appreciate the forgiving nature of the fabric. I own the white ones and, fresh out of the wash, they are dressy enough to wear to casual day at work and not look "shlumpy".
1. Mine also have the back pocket problem where small holes are forming at the top of the back pockets.
2. After wearing, they become quite stretched out and loose until the next wash.

The first thing I said to myself when I tried these pants on was "wow, these are the most comfortable pants I've ever worn". It's no exaggeration that they feel like sweats but look like jeans. They fit perfectly. I washed them before wearing them as suggested but didn't put them in the dryer. Directly out of the washing machine, they looked wrinkled but after drying, they were fine. I bought 2 pairs and will be wearing them all summer. They are easy to cuff if you don't like the length.

I am going to wash them and see if the scratchy itch goes away.

These are very soft and comfy, yet look good. I am 5'4" and bought the petites, which was the right choice. These are a midrise though you could wear them a bit lower. They have some stretch to it and feel great on.

I first bought these in the Midnight wash and fell in love. Now I own the Sea Salt too. Both pair fit the same on me. They are very, very comfortable and flattering. I haven't washed the Sea Salt ones yet, but the Midnight has faded a little bit after 3 washes. Not enough complain about though. LLBEAN - please add Black as a color option!

I took a chance on the white one, even though I was warned about the fabric coming apart at the back pockets. Alas, just one washing in and it happened to both pockets. I keep darning them but do not think it will hold.
Very disappointing as they are both super cute and very comfortable.

I admit to making fun of "knit jeans" but these are very comfy. In the midnight wash they do not look like knit jeans at all. I found the cropped length a bit long on me...a little past the where crops should hit and headed for "high water". I fixed this by rolling them over twice and putting a cut cuff at the bottom.

I scoffed at the idea of "knit jeans" for a long time. Yes, I'm old enough to be a grandma, but really? I have such a hard time finding comfortable pants that fit, I finally tried these on a whim. I ordered the crops in midnight wash, petite. They are awesome. I do not want to take them off. I agree with other users who like the slight flare at the bottom and the slightly higher waist. They keep their shape and don't get baggy. Probably a little heavier than I would want for summer when it's hot, but for most of the year, they are perfect.

I absolutely love these-4 long pair, 2 crop, but the sizing is strange. The white pants and crops are both way shorter than the other colors. This is an advantage for the crops but not for the long pants. I ordered the exact same size in all colors. The whites were 2 inches shorter and snugger. Having said all that, I still love them because they are just so comfy. I haven't noticed any fading or excess wear. I don't see these as problems since LLBean is so great about standing behind their products, no matter how long you have had and used something.

I have ordered these before and love them. I ordered the russet in 18p as well, and they fit just like my other ones. I am going to have to size up to a 20p on the midnight/dark wash and hope that it is consistant.
Also, I highly recommend that you do not dry any of the comfort knits in the dryer. I never did when we lived in Europe, but since we got back I have. I have a dedicated pair of jeans for my volunteer work two days a week. Since I started drying them on med., the fabric is separating adjacent to the seams.
