I like the fit and material, but I washed them TWICE before wearing, and the dye still came off all over my legs. I'm not sure what to do now, since I do like them. Maybe I'll wash them a few more times, and try again before returning?

Rated 3 out of 5 by maryhw Nice item, but sizing inconsistent
I bought both the pants and the crops in a petite size. In dark wash, the crops are much smaller. They are also smaller than the crops in russet.
I like the material a lot. On me, the waist is very high. It's almost as though they used the rise in misses and only adjusted the length of the legs. This creates kind a strange wrinkle in the front. There's just too much material.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Crisnick Fits my large calves
I bought the dark wash. I love these pants and wish I could afford another pair. They fit well and move when I move. I like the waist -- not too high or low. I know some people complain that the leg bottoms are a little larger, but I usually have trouble with capris being too skin tight at the bottom and these actually fit. I can't be the only person out there with large calves. Thanks LL Bean, don't stop making these. Maybe I can get the white ones for summer.

I ordered these in white, indigo, and soft red. They are really nice. The fit is good I ordered sz 18.I have a big belly, what can I say.
The colors are very pretty. The fabric is a "comfort knit" exactly like that sounds!. These cropped pants can be rolled up and look great this way..I have washed in cold water. I put my clothes in the dryer for 3 to 10 minutes, a few items at a time. Then I take them out and hang to finish drying. I pay a lot for my clothes. I do not dry clean, so I treat my clothes well. It works!
These pants are good looking and great quality fabric and colors.
Buy and wear with confidence.

I bought these because I have loved wearing the Comfort KnitJeans. I always buy a size 14P. These cropped Comfort Knit jeans are just too tight around the waist. I am going to try them in a size larger.

At last, a pair of jeans that have enough room in the waist for us apple-shaped women. Have these in the Sea Salt, and just ordered a second pair in the Midnight Wash. So comfortable, they're like wearing pajama bottoms... LLBean, please don't change a thing about these, just bring them back next summer in more colors!

I purchased the Ember color five months ago. I wear them as often as one can wear such a unique orange color. Many of my tops match, so that is 2-3 days/week! They are as comfortable as advertised. Wash well. No fading or shrinkage. Ready to wear out of the dryer! I'm back for two more pairs. Please add black, khaki and navy next year, so I can wear them to my office. Love this fabric!! Glad LLBean is offering it.

These are cute, comfortable, and very summery. They go with everything and although I am constantly spilling something on them, so far, the white has come clean, which is a plus. There is a tiny pull on one side (that only I notice) but I'm going to buy a second pair and hope they don't pull. I also have the cropped style. The waist is way too big but that's always true of everything, for me.

I appreciate the forgiving nature of the fabric. I own the white ones and, fresh out of the wash, they are dressy enough to wear to casual day at work and not look "shlumpy".
1. Mine also have the back pocket problem where small holes are forming at the top of the back pockets.
2. After wearing, they become quite stretched out and loose until the next wash.
