Rated 5 out of 5 by FFmaven Great Waders
I got these waders back in October and have used them for about 6 months; 160 wading hours. They have great features and are a comfortable fit. But they started leaking at the calves at about 150 hours. I fixed the leak but noticed the fabric seamed to be failing. Next time out both calves were soaked when I got out. The fabric had failed in them both.
Bean of course replaced them, but I would have expected 250 to 300 hours before failing completely. That said, I still would buy them again; Bean's service is so superior to any other brands it's not worth changing. Also, other brands I have had failed at 100 hours.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Outdoor High expectations from waders
Have not purchased Bean waders in a while. Thought to give these a try. Size was perfect, the new belt system once getting use to it is a very good idea. No more lost belt. The fit is very comfortable, the booties are the perfect size for the Medium regular size. Have used waders just twice and found no leaks. I do much fly fishing (perhaps 2-3 days every week from April to October) and plan two 2weeks trips to both Baxter State Park and Colorado's alpine lakes and the Arkansas river this summer. I have high expectations that these waders will not disappoint.

6 months and multiple trips in the Salish sea, bass ponds and many miles of river bank chasing chrome these waders have exceeded my expectations so far. I don't think I will will ever purchase waders with stitched seams again. These are comfortable, the pockets are well thought out, tough, durable, and good looking. Great job LLBean!

Durable material, very tough construction and loaded with features. I'm sure the leg fabric will outlast the stockings by about 30 years. It's very tough stuff. Do you really need that? You might.

Rated 5 out of 5 by pillcaster nice so far
I have only been on the water twice, but so far, no leaks. I had the old model Kennebec waders with the sewn seams, which I loved. They lasted 3 years, which I think is good, considering I give waders a lot of use. The new model, with the "sonic" seam technology, seem to be a little lighter in weight than the old model. I like the new clear sealable internal pocket, great for your phone. The belt on these is great, you can cinch it down for a good fit. The suspenders are really nice. The new bootie design fits better. A sizing note; I am 5'9", 200 lbs, size 11 shoe, 29" inseam. Most waders are uncomfortably too long in the legs for me, I ordered the stout large, they fit great thru the legs, long enough for climbing but not excessively long. They are plenty big thru the chest, actually a little too big, but I can wear multiple layers when I need to. When I don't need to, I can cinch in the belt at that takes up the excess and it gives a comfortable fit. Last time out, I wore sweat pants over my jeans and the waders still fit fine. The real test, of course, is if they stay leak free for the next 3 years, like my last pair. I recommend you brush any sand, gravel out of the gravel guard seam and hang up the waders immediately after each use. I would suggest LL Bean put a net loop at the top back of the suspenders, I made my own with a rivet tool and it works well.

I have owned these waders for just over a year and have been disappointed. I have had to have them replaced multiple times due to leaking. I am an avid fly fisherman and take good care of my equipment. I would expect pair of waders in this price range to last 3-5 years. I have not had a pair of these last over 6 months.
