Rated 5 out of 5 by Fontinalis Still dry.
My last post was on May 5, 2014 and I had the waist highs at least a year at the time. In my May 5th post I said only time will tell. Well, it has been another year of hard use and still I am as dry as the first day I wore them. What scares me is I am afraid I am going to wear out the seat before the waders spring a leak.

I was looking for waist high waders when I came to the realization that I have not waded past mid hip in quite awhile. Anyway these waders fit the bill nicely. They are well made, lightweight and look pretty good (for waders). The velcro waist band is snug and keeps the waders in place and also has enough room to hold the leather pouch for my wading staff. The only thing that could be improved upon would be a pocket or 2 to hold a fly box or other miscellaneous things.
I wear size 38x32 jeans, I'm 6' and weigh 215. I purchased the large size. They fit nicely and have plenty of extra room to add another layer underneath.

I live in Argentina and had a pair of waders sent to me size Large with a 33 "inseam ( according to the size table ) The wader are LARGE but with a 40"inseam, that is an extra 30 cm on a 1,80 m height person!!!
I'm sorry about this because they look fantastic but I can't use them,
Lost my money?

waders feel good quality I wish the bootie was bigger 9 to 11 instead of 9 to 10 . Have not had them in the water to see if they leak yet.

being a fly fisherman for over 45yrs I think that qualifies me as knowing the difference between waders and bar none I have I ever wore a better product. Even know they leaked, LL Beans exceptional customer service quickly resolved the issue and I was back on the streams.

Rated 3 out of 5 by TMIII great waders, bad sizing
I'm 5'6" so I ordered the small. The feet fit perfect but the legs had so much material that I looked like an accordion. When I stood them up next to me the waist came up to my arm pits. Too bad because I really wanted these.

After 7 years, my old LLBean waist high waders finally wore out. So, I ordered replacement that are completely redesigned. They are much better designed. The stretch velro closure is unique in the industry I believe and when cinched tight doubles as both a wading belt and back support. The seams are much better and the neoprene booty stronger. Like the predecessor they are a true fit. The only negative is an abundance of loose threads in the belt arrangement that need trimming. They are not functional or construction issues though. I put about 100 fishing days a year on the old pair. These will doubtless exceed that wear rate. Well done LLBean! I

I never owned these waders for more than a week as they leaked. The taping on the stocking foot peeled away instantly and caused the leak. The stocking foot runs very small. I wear a size 10 shoe and purchased the medium wader fitting sizes 9 to 11 feet. The stocking foot barely fit me in these waders. I would hate to see how somebody with an actual size 11 foot would fit in these. To get the correct fit on my foot I would have to wear a large wading pant and that would be very loose fitting. Size issues and leaks for me.

Another year gone by and my Kennebec's are still keeping me dry although the seat is getting a little dirty and there is a little more "dunlap" then there was last year but still cannot complain about the fit. I like the Velcro closure on the belt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by highrockrd well made, comfortable, great for summer fishing
I am extremely pleased with the fit and quality of the Kennebec waders...they are great for fishing in the summer when the air temp can be quite warm and the tailwaters quite chilly! They come up high enough to keep me out of trouble in slightly deeper water than other wading pants I am used to.
