Great waders..I am 5' 10" and weigh 230 lbs..I wear a 31" inseam and have a 38" waist....I picked up a Large ...and these fit me great. Very easy to get on and off...super easy wide belt is easy to adjust. Super tough outer material...very pleased with these waders.

Bought the med for my husband (he is 5'9"). And they were very long. Way too much extra fabric in the leg, so they went back. He typically fits in med in everything. We will try the S.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BullIslandAngler Great material construction, size diversity is not.
I have to say that the sonic seam being on the outside of the leg is sure to reduce leaks, and after a careful inspection looked bulletproof. However, the size chart is innacurate unless you fall into the bigger end of the estimate. It does not correlate the the sizes of the Emerger even though the size chart is identical. I weat a medium in the emerger and the fit is perfect;no bunching in standing postion, enough fabric to kneel without being tight. However, with these I can pull the crotch all the way up and there is still folds all the way down waders to the feet. So unless you wear a 32" plus inseam these waders are not the ones for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by GuitarbuildingAngler Amazing waist high waders. Best on the market.
I will keep this short and sweet.
These waders are incredible. The superseam technology is amazing and feels absolutely solid and durable. The waders fit great if you do your research and order the right size for your body type.
They are breathable in the summer, and offer enough room to layer up in the winter. The neoprene feet are great. The integrated wading belt is amazing. Extremely easy to adjust and great quality. Putting on and taking off the waders is super easy
A NOTE to potential LL Bean customers:
I have had to deal with LL Bean customer service a couple times. They are extremely friendly and professional. They really do ANYTHING possible to make you happy. This is why I only buy LL Bean fly fishing gear now. I can trust the gear, and the people behind it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fontinalis Durable and comfortable
Have tried just about all of LL's waist high waders and have had seam problems. I think Bean finally got it right with the Kennebecs,. I have purchased a competitors waist highs (at an extremely high price) and I will have to say they are not as comfortable as my Kennebecs. Durability between the two only time will tell. I fish almost daily and put my gear through some tough conditions.

Have worn these waders several times now. What I love is the fit and boot size for me. The neoprene boots come off very easily and with a pair of BOA boots, getting in and out is a breeze. I have a pair of chest high Kennebecs and the bootie is tight to my ankle. I wear a large and was concerned that they would not hold to my waist but the velcro belt style is great and I have no problem with them staying up. I wish that would have some type of zippered storage pocket in front/center as the chest highs do.
This is my first pair of waist highs and I am pleased with this choice

I've had mine for a month now and have had them out in the water a half a dozen times or more. So far, no real complaints. The only thing I wish is that they had a couple zippered water proof pockets. Other than that they are doing a great job of keeping me dry.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Brookie1 Kennebec wader
The sizing is way off. It says the inseam is 31-33. I'm 5"7" inseam 31-32. When I put these on the waist high came up to my armpits!! I have the Emergers at a medium but they were a bit tight and small but the only upgrade was this. The sizing between the two waders was the same so I expected the Kennebec to be perfect but was I disappointed ! Sending them back and looking at another waist high wader option.
