Great alone in moderate cold or as a liner in colder weather. Nice, snug fit and arrived early.

These liner gloves are fantastic. They are very warm on their own while driving or during short walks in very cold days.. Paired with mittens my hands remain very warm all day long outside. And my hands were always cold when outside, even with leather gloves underneath my heavy wool fleece lined mittens. They are incredibly soft and not itchy at all, despite their wool content.
They look so pretty that it is sad to hide them under the mittens when really cold outside. I love them and I am very happy to have found them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JRK5283 Great Glove Very Comfortable
These gloves are exactly as described. Not necessarily a frigid weather glove unless you use them as a glove liner, which is what they are supposed to be anyway. On cool/crisp days they work perfectly without any added layers. Anything colder and you need a heavier pair. They are extremely comfortable and true to their size. The electronic friendly touch pads for the thumb and index finger are an added perk so you do not have to take your hands out of the gloves.

The liners work pretty well but I'm concerned about longevity since the material is pilling after just a week of wear.

I love Smartwool, and these are exactly as advertised. I would like to see Bean (if Smartwool still makes them) carry the glove made with nylon and wool instead of acrylic and wool. This one snags easily, so i have to be careful. The pair I have that is made with nylon is less cushy, but much more durable and just as warm. Actually, it would be fabulous if Bean could have gloves made with the nylon and wool, and with grippy bits on the fingers and palms so they function as a driving glove.

Rated 3 out of 5 by BostonGwen Texture and sizing leave room for improvement
I bought these to use as gloves or liners as the only ones I could find which worked with smartphones and were relatively small while in store.
The finger length, which admittedly is commonly a problem for me, was definitively too long, but more importantly the texture was increasingly noticably itchy. I felt they would also bunch up in weird ways if I wore them as a liner.
As far as warmth, I can't say they were impressive (could still note cold) or horrible (it was in the 40s, and wind did not quite cut through them as bad as some gloves.).
All in all the ear muffs were the purchase that day that shone. I have since lost track of the gloves, and can't say I care terribly much.

Very pleased with these "glove liners." Work well inside my gauntlet motorcycle gloves. Now my hands are warm on these cooler fall morning and evening rides.

Rated 2 out of 5 by TwinMomNY Small too big for women
Was excited when I saw this glove... and then very disappointed on how big the small size was since LL Bean marketed this glove to women.
