Rated 5 out of 5áby mostlypracticalshopper My favorite work-out shirt
I love the fabric of this shirt! I like that it is not as flimsy and sheer as sports shirts I have gotten elsewhere. I don't really want a shirt that shows everything, and it still wicks great. I wear it to the gym and I sweat a lot, and I like that it doesn't cling to me. I am going to order more, but a may try a small instead of med.

Rated 2 out of 5áby akacooper too boxy, too heavy
I am disappointed with this shirt. The material is twice as thick as one I had from LL Bean and the shape is very boxy. I did not like the fit at all but never wore it before returning it.

Rated 1 out of 5áby STXTX Bring back the old style
Like several other reviewers, I prefer the old style better (the one that is more feminine in fit, and has a shirred crew neckline). LL Bean - please listen to us and bring back the old style. I have purchased about 10 of these different shirts and I have noticed a difference!
Most importantly, I don't like the new style's fabric. It is much thicker and less cooler/wicking than the old style. I compared the old style to the new style, and the new style has a flatter, tighter weave on the outside. The old style had a loose weave on the outside of the shirt as well as the inside.
If you can't bring back the old style, at least bring back the fabric, for those of us who live in hot, humid states.

I have ordered the bean sport tees for several years and have the old style in many different colors. I went online to order a couple more for this year and was surprised to see the new style. Willing to give it a try despite reading the other reviews, I too am disappointed with the changes. The bust area in this new version is way oversized and the shirt itself is very boxy. The previous style was more of a feminine fit without being too tight. I am 5 '4" weigh 140 and am a pear shape and I ordered a medium. It just was not a flattering fit at all. I know it doesn't matter too much what you like when you are working out but as a busy mom of three active kids my workout clothes are usually what I'm wearing when running errands after my time at the gym. Please bring back old style!

I usually buy bean sport fitness shirts, decided to try this shirt but this runs form fitting and didn't work for me. Color and material were very good.

I am a regular LL Bean online shopper, and need to replace the white sport shirt with a new, I did read the reviews and instead of large ordered medium. It does fit just fine, only this is a little bit long, but I am short waisted, so that is fine , I am 5ft 5 and 145 lbs I will purchase more and would also like colours.

I love this top and am disappointed that it is only available in white now. It fits well and can be used for many activities. It is very nice looking and dresses up quite nicely.

Rated 3 out of 5áby jms928 Love the tee I bought this spring, but...
... the fit seems to have changed--for the worse--recently.
I bought this tee in lavender in April. I LOVE it and wear it all the time. My tee is loose but not baggy, is extremely comfortable, and has a handy zip pocket that holds a key, Chapstick, etc.
Last time I was in the store, I tried the tee on in French Blue, thinking I might get it if the fit was the same as my much-loved lavender top. It was definitely NOT the same. As other reviewers have said, it was tight in the hips, and it was too short.
It was hard to figure out how to rate this item. The tee I got this spring deserves five stars, but the one I just tried on deserves maybe two. It would only fit a short woman with straight hips well. I'd recommend it to someone with that body type, but not to anyone else.

I ordered this in my usual L.L.Bean size, but the hips were too tight, making the whole shirt bunch up. It was also more fitted through the bust than I expected. I returned it, but did not exchange for a larger size because the neck was already quite large - more of a scoop than a crew.

Rated 2 out of 5áby GoldenRetrieverMommy Disappointed in the fit this year
I bought the shirts last year that have the same name as this one. In the meantime, I lost enough weight that I needed to buy a smaller size, so I bought a new one this year in a smaller size.
The fit of this year's BeanSport shirt seems to be for someone with a huge bust and no hips. This year's size Large is bigger in the bust than last year's XLarge. The hips, however, are quite tight. It's the rare woman who is shaped this way.
