Rated 4 out of 5 by ywnyny Great raincoat BUT NOT WARM
I bought this coat to take on a trip to Italy in late fall/early winter. It's made well, fits well and looks great on BUT it will not be comfortable in -15 degree weather unless you somehow manage to wear it on top of another coat. The coat is comfortable for me to around 45 degrees but any colder than that requires warm layers underneath. I decided to keep the coat because I'll wear it in warmer weather, but I'm still looking for a dressier waterproof coat I can wear in colder weather that doesn't look like a down parka.

Rated 4 out of 5 by TheSharpOne Light and warm
Just got the parka a few days ago, so I haven't given it a good 'road' test yet. The temperature here has warmed up a bit for winter, but so far, the parka has kept me warm enough.
The parka was lighter than I expected (and lighter than my last winter dress jacket). And yes, it is dressy enough to wear to my office job.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Medmuse Rainwear Parka Needs Better Pockets
This is a nice parka in many ways - roomy enough to fit a sweater underneath, and for me is just the right length - falls at mid-thigh. But the temperature rating to -25 degrees is puzzling. There is only a thin wool lining and the sleeves are uninsulated. Plus the pockets are inadequate if one does not want to carry a purse or shoulder bag. There are two slit pockets on the outside which are fine for gloves, but not good for carrying a wallet, phone, and keys. There is a large inside pocket - but it looks and feels awkward to put everything in that one pocket. All in all a nice parka if it's not too cold, and if you planned on carrying a shoulder bag anyway.

I did return this parka as it was not as warm as I wanted - in fact I would not call it a parka, but a rain jacket. I am not sure that lining adds much... BUT, if you are looking for a spring jacket this is a FABULOUS one. Would have kept it if budget allowed.
I exchanged it for the insulated parka (also H2Off) which is perfect for my purposes, and I adore.

This coat is perfect! It was exactly as I expected it to be. Not too heavy -the perfect layering piece. I was wearing it in the storm before Thanksgiving since I live in the northeast and the rain just rolled right off!

This coat is just the right weight for this time of year. Comfortable, neat-looking. Couldn't find anything as good anywhere else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NeverHadANickname perfect for me
I have been looking for this coat for 20 years! The removable wool liner allows 3 season wear at home. Traveling from the NE for a vacation in the South, I can now just take one coat. Zip out the liner and it is a warm weather coat, and a raincoat.
It is very lightweight but warm with the wool liner in, repels water, and the deep red color is really nice. The length is great. Adjustable sleeves and waistline add to the comfort. It doesn't wrinkle. I am very happy with this product

Rated 1 out of 5 by WalkingFool30 Runs very large!
I used the sizing chart to buy the size indicated by my measurements and was very disappointed. I think I could probably wear two sizes smaller! Since I don't want to spend shipping to return it again and I'm not sure what size would fit correctly, I'm just returning it for a refund. I also thought the lining would be a bit heavier since it was rated as warm to -15. I doubt that I would have worn it below 40 degrees. I should have stuck with not buying clothing without trying in on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KimberlyInOhio The perfect running-around coat
I really really love this coat. I already was a fan of the H2Off material, for it's wind and water resistance. I have a long coat, and a 3/4 one. This one, however, is my new favorite. (I don't work in the city much anymore, where the long one was of the best use for me, and the 3/4 one looks a bit dowdy.) I am 5'5 and 130 pounds, and am often between a small and medium. I purchased the small in this coat, and it fits perfectly. I have received a lot of compliments on it. While it is not super-warm, I needed a coat for trips where I would be mostly in the car and running in and out of stores and visiting, etc. It is a very flattering coat with good practical qualities.

As a teacher who spends 40 minutes per day working the carpool line, I need a coat to keep me comfortable and dry on windy, rainy days. The H2O Rainwear Parka does the job. My previous rain coat was jacket length, which left my tush and thighs out in the rain. This coat hits me mid thigh, providing excellent coverage without hampering mobility. The zip-out liner is a nice extra layer, though i doubt it will be enough for really cold days. The coat is relaxed enough that I can wear a fleece or sweater layer for added warmth. The cut is a bit sack-like, but it does have a drawstring to cinch it in some for a more fitted look.
