Rated 4 out of 5 by Southerngal123 Great Shirts
Just got my two shirts today. I bought the denim polka dots and the blue stone. Both are very nice but they are not sized the same, for that reason I am rating them 4 stars. The polka dot one is cut smaller in the body and the sleeves are a tad short, compared to the blue stone which is bigger all the way around. I wear a medIum ( I am 5 71/2 and 145) I love the material. Can be dressed up or down. I have not washed them yet but I used my steamer to get the wrinkles out. Worked like a charm! Wrinkles fell right out. And I Got them on sale to boot! thanks Bean!

Rated 5 out of 5 by b3a3b3y3d1o1e1 tencel big shirt, floral
I ordered this in my reg. size - XL & it was a bit big - sleeves a bit longer than I like but it was fine layered over a turtle neck. I ordered the light blue shirt in L & it was a perfect fit... I love them both & will probably get the light green one when available. Classy looking & washes well & I hang on rack to dry. Perfect!!

by Happy25y Head to toe!
This is a pretty shirt which invites compliments each time I wear it. The floral print, on the soft tencel fabric, is muted on the subdued blue background. I paired this shirt with the indigo linen shell and raw indigo perfect fit cropped pants. And to complete the outfit, I wore the LL Bean navy wedge sandals. Truly LL Bean head to toe!

Rated 3 out of 5 by lovethebirds Good design but fabric problems
I bought this for use as an evening/ AC coverup over tees. I followed washing instructions and ironed on reverse as stated. This was fine on single layers but at the collar, cuffs, front placket and shoulder, it created puckers on the rear (i.e. the front side) presumably because the two layers don't line up exactly or the fabric is "slippery". I therefore had to ignore instructions and attempt to remove them by ironing on the outer side of the garment. I think this possibly puts a shine on the fabric? Quite frankly, this was more of a hassle than I want to go through at each wash so regrettably I will be returning it. I have an old LLB big shirt that is 42% Cotton/ 58% Tencel blend that does not have this problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by EileenP XL sleeves are short and narrow
OK, so I'm normally a solid 1X, but I ordered XL because I wanted a color that was not available in the women's sizes. I can't layer it (which was to be expected), but the disappointing thing is that the wrists are a little short for someone of my height (5'9"). And when I try to roll them up, the forearm is too tight to make that comfortable, though I believe my forearms are thin for my size.
So of the XL I would say the sleeves should be longer. And if you have average or stockier forearms, this shirt isn't ideal for rolling up the sleeves.
That having been said, I love the way the material drapes. I give it a very quick iron on certain spots (lower back edge) and then it looks great all day. Colors are great. Would be great if those colors were available in the women's sizes, also!

Rated 3 out of 5 by ohiograms Comfortable
I bought one of these last year and love it; however, I've tried two other colors and have to send them back as they aren't what I'd hoped for. But this is a comfortable shirt, fits nicely and is not that hard to take care of.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MDpyrmom last year's version is better
I just discovered these shirts and have now bought several. They are called "big shirts", which is probably why I ignored them for so long. They are loose and comfy but not all that "big". The fabric is soft and drapes like a dream. They look really lovely on---like you're wearing a silk shirt---and the colors are very nice. I bought my usual size. The sleeves are fine for me but I have long arms. Two things to note. One, the cream is a tad too sheer for me, since I'm wearing it unlayered. And they seem to changed the cut for this year's version. It pulls across the shoulders. I even ordered a second one just to make sure it wasn't a QC issue but it definitely fit worse than the previous season version. I give last season's a 5, this season's a 3.

After purchasing the first tencel shirt, I reordered two more in other colors (now have green--a happy bright apple color, blue--intense baby blue, and turquoise--a rich dark color with white buttons). The shirt drapes and flows nicely thanks to the tencel. If dried on medium and taken out of the dryer on time, wrinkles and puckers are minimal or nonexistent. The colors are vibrant and "happy." I order L or XL with LL Bean depending on item, and found the Large to be just fine for wearing alone or over a T-shirt. This shirt can dress up with a nice scarf or down with a pair of jeans. The pastel colors make it more of a 3-season shirt, but the dark turquoise works for winter wear as well. The only issue I've had with it over the past year of wear is that the hem in the back curls up sometimes out of the dryer. If you are fussy, a 30 second iron job would solve it. If you don't mind minding it in the dryer, this is a terrific shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by wmnnj Too bad not available for almost a year!!
I purchased this shirt in a lovely shade of green. I had to get the 2x because it does run small but I adore it. I wanted to get a few more and was told that the womens sizes are all sold out in all colors until next season which the csr told me was "probably spring".

This shirt isn't sized for layering, not a "Big Shirt," in my view. I planned to layer it over a cotton turtleneck, but it was uncomfortably snug when I layered it this way. It's on its way back.
