I ordered this sweatshirt and loved it, it's a 10. I loved it so much I reordered another for a spare. That came in so much larger than the first one. I returned it and reordered. The same story happened. Now I am debating as to if I should try another time. They do not give me a hard time returning however it is a nuisance. What I noticed is that the first one was made in Jordan and the others were made in China. Perhaps that is my problem and the company's problem.

Really like these jackets with zip up neck. They are neat enough to wear in the office especially when the AC is on. Size is true (I buy XL because I like them loose) and they don't shrink, but the pockets are WIMPY. Since I often wear them walking the dog I need pockets to HOLD cell phone, dog cookies, dog baggies, tissues, etc. Pockets need to be more secure. Would love to have zip pockets even if at additional expense. Or just make them deeper. Would also like a better color selection. Why not Deep Fuchsia or Periwinkle Blue?

This is what I was looking for: a sweatshirt without a hood, and without the fleece lining. I tend to get too warm with the fleece-lined sweatshirts, so this unlined one is very welcome. The fabric is very soft. It feels great. Only drawback is that the top-stitching is the type of stitching I would expect to see on the inside, not the outside. Also, the male side of the zipper is imbedded in material, so the material could shred prematurely, and/or it will take longer than normal to zip up.

I own this Ultrasoft jacket in navy and my order came today of a gray one and the striped one in gray/navy. The gray one was perfect but the striped one was so HUGE that it must be mismarked. I am hesitant to exchange it and I am VERY unhappy that I have to pay $6.50 to return something which is clearly missized.

I am 5'7", 175 lbs and have this in a size large. Usually, I wear a large or extra large. This sweatshirt is so nice! It's got a little stretch, it's not shapeless, and the seams make for a flattering fit. It's not a really close fit, but it is nicely shaped. I love the collar and the absence of a hood. The fabric is really lovely and soft. You get the comfort of a favorite cozy sweatshirt and the looks of a nice jacket that you can wear just about anywhere. I would enjoy it even more if it were a little big longer, but this will definitely works for me regardless. The zipper could be a bit more substantial. I will wear this year-round.

Absolutely love this sweatshirt. It's soft and fits my body without being too tight in the bust or waist or too short in the arms or overall length (a problem found frequently in other styles). I bought one then purchased all other colors available. I may end up living in this sweatshirt.

by Marnahz Great cozy warm sweat shirt jacket
I like this lightweight sweat a great deal, it fits great and is very comfortable. The navy blue is a nice strong color. The first one came with a zipper that had so much material at the start I couldn't get the zipper to work, but a new one was sent promptly and it is fine.
My one wish is that LL Bean made a sweat jacket like the fitness fleece jacket, with inside pockets and side pockets the same. I got one like that years ago and it is my all time favorite, but sadly no longer available. We have a white dog that sheds and her fur sticks to everything fleece. I don't like hoods as my long braid gets in the way and the hood pulls down my shoulders, my favorite sweatshirt jacket is worn from many years, and while this new one will be ok, I really miss the inside pockets!

Rated 5 out of 5 by RebeccaAR Excellent as a stand-alone top
I just had shoulder surgery and needed tops that opened completely in the front and were easy to get into and out of. This wonderful jacket fits the bill. It is stretchy, which makes it easy to put on and move around in. It looks very attractive when it's zipped up and used as a top. It's a nice weight -- not too heavy and not too light. It's very "forgiving" and a real comfort to wear. I plan to purchase another one of these jackets in a different color and wear them long after my shoulder is healed.

I bought this jacket in grey heather in a plus size, and I love it! I've worn it indoors all winter. Bean's plus sizes are hit and miss, but this fits very well with princess seams and neat shoulders. I've washed it a few times and it's holding up well. The fabric felt thin at first, but it is very soft and warmer than it looks.
It is too bad the pants were such a disaster, because the jacket is great!

It is well made, but the fabric is on the thin side. The zipper was difficult to get started. Out of the bag, the navy blue color looked faded and washed out. I think it will only get worse with more wearing and washing-all problems I am finding with navy blue knit fabrics. I'd recommend this in a different color and if you want more of a warm-up type suit as opposed to a sweatshirt suit.
