Rated 4 out of 5áby RockiesNana Warm Henley
This shirt has just enough stretch to be very comfortable and warm. The arm length is fine for my very long arms; I am 5'9". I have no problem with shrinkage because I hang to dry most of my shirts.

Rated 3 out of 5áby dew397 Shrinks up
Please please please offer this shirt in extra long. I love this shirt but find after washing, it shrinks up and I cannot wear it anymore. I know that this is a common complaint for this item. Just an extra 2" would be perfect. Thanks!

Rated 4 out of 5áby KindaPicky Love these shirts
I have 3 of these. Love the cozy, soft fabric and the fit. They do pill a little (noticeable on the paper white, probably due to the light color, but not the navy or grey). And they do shrink if you let your husband do the laundry and he dries everything on the highest heat setting :). If you treat them right, they wash and dry very nicely without a lot of extra effort. Definitely for casual wear. Great as a layer in winter; more than enough as an indoor layer in spring / fall.

Rated 3 out of 5áby katesgrandma shapelessness isn't what i hoped for
Although the "review" link landed me with the print henley, I actually bought 2 of the plain waffle-knits, the 2nd before I'd washed the first, unfortunately. I really liked these initially--soft and comfortable, with nice shaping and a good length. But washing them in cold water, with low-heat drying, seems to have turned them into slightly shorter, square-ish shirts. So now they seem just kind of lumpy. They're still utilitarian, of course, and I'll have them for years with LLB quality, but not so happily. What did I do wrong?

Rated 3 out of 5áby WAtraveler Comfy, soft, but shrinks too much
I have worn the waffle tees for two or three years. They are great under a vest and are incredibly comfortable and versatile. Some seem to shrink more than others. The striped tee I purchased in late 2014 has shrunk more than most. I have worn it perhaps five times. It has shrunk more than the solid color waffle tees (delicate, cold water, dryer low, hung while slightly damp) and now is relegated either to the give-away pile or to Bean as an unsatisfactory item return. Please, LLBean, keep the same styling and upgrade the fabric, even to include some synthetic fiber if necessary to avoid the substantial shrinkage. I really like this shirt!

Rated 2 out of 5áby peggylovestoshop :-( Light Duty
This shirt is absolute perfection except: THE FABRIC IS TOO THIN! I'm shopping at LL Bean because I expect a certain quality and continuity in the clothing. LL Bean can go ahead and make a light, thin Henley shirt but KEEP one in the traditional weight as well. Seriously - this light Henley is useless for winter. I wanted a shirt I could wear around the house for housework, etc. and this is not it. I have to wear another layer to keep warm in the house with this thing. Very disappointed :( No one else makes shirts like this so I don't have other options. Please bring back the "old-style" Henley and I'll order 10 of them! Thanks.

Rated 5 out of 5áby chickadeeX3 So-o-o soft I didn't wanna take it off!!!
I just got one in the Island Coral print; so bright and pretty for spring! Mine is not "thin" at all (but not too thick for layering either) and is heavenly soft and comfy on my skin. (Other major brand waffle knits have felt rough and scratchy to me.) Haven't washed it yet but will use cold water and dry on low as I always do. May also use Woolite detergent to avoid the pilling mentioned in a few reviews here. I've noticed that some people say these shrink badly, while others say they haven't had any shrinkage problems. It would be helpful to know what temperature settings people are using when they wash/ dry. (Otherwise the fabrics for different styles/ colors must vary a lot!)

Rated 3 out of 5áby Patria Thin material like under garment
This 'waffle-knit' material is thinner than I expected. Hold up a single layer and light comes through. Also, it shrinks. So I recommend you consider this Henley as a nice under garment and buy a size larger than you need it to be after washing. ... When I bought this, I was looking for the thinker, more substantial 'waffle' shirts #bought them here years past# as an outer layer to wear hiking with jeans - this isn't it. But I'm keeping this one as an under shirt or spare pajama top, rather than send it back.

Rated 4 out of 5áby mommycozy Casual with nice texture
This is definitely a casual style. It is soft, long enough and the color selection is nice. It seems to me as one of Beans prized products. After some months of wear though, mine started pilling. Alas, it's not perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5áby suttonfran super shirt!
I love my waffle henley. It fits well AND the sleeves are long enough - horray!!!
Most of the women's small shirts have sleeves that are too short for me, and the shirts tend to be more baggy than I like in the body as well. THis shirt doesn't have any of those defaults.
I hang to dry so don't know if it'll shrink in the dryer - not going to try!
I did not buy the print one - I have a solid colour. the Bean site's link is messed up.
